Note: I lived in the Tucson area of Arizona for 24 years. I moved before Martha McSally came on the scene. I had lived near her district but not in her district. I did not support any candidate in the Arizona Republican Senate primary. Without question though, I would not have voted for her. She is not a conservative.
As in other elections, there were at least two major conservatives running in the primary against Republican In Name Only, Establishment Republican Martha McSally. Also, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his cohorts supported her. As too often happens, the Establishment Republican defeated both conservatives as the conservatives split the conservative vote.
That said, even an Establishment Republican is better than a Leftist in the general election vote. If I still lived in Arizona, I would certainly vote for Martha McSally over Leftist Kyrsten Sinema, who is 100% pro-murder of babies within the womb. I want every Leftist Senator defeated at the polls.
Also, early voting, which I personally do not approve of because it is an invitation for voter fraud which is why the Left promotes it, has already begun in Arizona.

Yet another ‘October surprise’ from the past has surfaced for a Democratic [Leftist] candidate in her bid for an Arizona Senate seat.
A video released by the Senate Leadership Fund on Friday shows Representative Kyrsten Sinema, D [Leftist]- Arizona, trashing the state she hopes to represent in the Senate at a left-wing political conference in 2010. Sinema’s opponent is Representative Martha McSally, R-Arizona.
‘My state, Arizona, is clearly the meth lab of democracy [What?],’ Sinema says to uproarious laughter and applause from the audience on the video. ‘And I cannot take credit for that line, someone at the Daily Show wrote it, but I’m happy to steal it and use it all the time.’
The video follows just a day after other footage of Sinema calling Arizona “crazy” surfaced.
In contrast to views like these and her 2003 characterization of the Iraq War as “U.S. terror,’ Sinema has tried to run as a “centrist” Democrat [What a joke.] so far in this race.

In what political world is that being a moderate?].’ If only that were true! In reality, he’s an extremist who supports abortion [murder of babies within the womb] on demand through the moment of birth, and he should be worried about the political consequences.
Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration recently published statistics about abortions [murders of babies within the womb] in the state for 2017. While the good news is that abortions [murders of babies within the womb] are declining [As far as official statistics are concerned. No one except GOD knows how many babies have been murdered by the allowed over-the-counter abortion drugs that may be purchased by anyone 17 or over.], a review by the Charlotte Lozier Institute found alarming details in this report. Of nearly 70,000 abortions [murders of babies within the womb] in Florida last year, the overwhelming majority were elective. Only about two percent of all abortions [murders of babies within the womb] involved the so-called ‘hard cases [There is no such thing. Murder is murder. GOD has no exceptions to “Thou shalt not murder.”]’ that are so hotly debated in Washington and the media. This is extreme.
Most alarming of all, though, is that 11 babies were reported as being born alive in failed abortions [murders of babies within the womb]. Florida is one of only a handful of states to report this information. Five years ago, Governor Rick Scott [Now running for the US Senate against Bill Nelson.] signed into law the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which protects the rights of babies who survive abortions [murders of babies within the womb] and requires every reasonable effort to be made to save their lives, just like any other premature infant of the same age. For the first time, it also required that instances of babies born alive be reported to the state health department. Sadly, we don’t know what ultimately happened to the 11 babies in 2017. However, we know that number is higher than in any year since the law passed.

As a labor and delivery nurse in Oak Lawn, Illinois, Jill Stanek witnessed first-hand babies struggling to live after botched abortions [murders of babies within the womb]. They were simply discarded like medical waste in the hospital’s soiled utility room. Jill will never forget comforting one precious little survivor for 45 minutes until the end of his life. When she spoke out, she lost her job. This experience motivated her to expose the horrific practice of infanticide and prevent it from happening to other children.
Under pro-life Governor Rick Scott [Now running for the US Senate against Bill Nelson.], Florida is making progress. The number of abortions [murders of babies within the womb] in Florida has dropped nearly 14 percent since Scott took office. Senator Nelson, on the other hand, is an extremist who would see that progress undone at the national level. He voted to keep barbaric partial-birth abortions [murders of babies within the womb. He has voted several times for taxpayer funding of abortion [murder of babies within the womb. Including earlier this year. See below.], which most Americans oppose. In 2015, he voted against the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would stop abortions [murders of babies within the womb] after five months of pregnancy. When the bill came up for a vote again this year, he didn’t even show up [Afraid to have his vote known in an election year?].
Only seven nations in the world, including China and North Korea, allow abortion [murder of babies within the womb] on demand at any point in pregnancy. The United States falls in this shameful minority. Thankfully, 20 states have enacted five-month limits on abortion [murder of babies within the womb] and momentum is growing [Although each State law is fought vigorously in the courts by Leftists.].
This is welcome change, but thanks to Nelson and other extremists in the U.S. Senate, we still do not have a national law to protect these vulnerable children.
Nelson’s extreme record shows how out-of-touch he is with constituents. Polling shows that 59 percent of Florida voters support the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and 46 percent said they would be less likely to support Senator Nelson if he voted to allow late-term abortion [murder of babies within the womb]. Broken down by demographic, 78 percent of millennial voters, 70 percent of African-American voters, and 57 percent of Hispanic voters support the bill. Even 56 percent of Democrats [Just under 30% of Democrats state they are pro-life.] and people who consider themselves ‘pro-choice’ support it.
Nelson will be held accountable for his extremism at the ballot box [And more importantly by GOD. And so will voters who vote for a candidate who supports and promotes the murder of babies within the womb. My understanding of this led me to stop voting for Democrats although I had been a pro-life Jeffersonian Democrat most of my life.]. But a flurry of damaging stories and revelations stunted Bayh’s comeback, giving Representative Todd Young a 10-point win behind Trump’s 19-point victory.
Donnelly seemed to have an uphill battle against Senator Richard Lugar (R) in 2012, until the incumbent was toppled by former Indiana Treasurer Richard Mourdock.
Look for a much tighter race now, with potential GOP candidates such as Representatives Luke Messer, Susan Brooks or Marlin Stutzman, who ran in the primary this past spring, in the mix.

A Senate race largely ignored as a potential blue-to-red flip has seen a recent uptick in favor of its Republican challenger.
The Detroit Free Press reported Thursday morning that incumbent Michigan Democrat [Leftist] Senator Debbie Stabenow’s lead over Republican candidate John James appears to have lagged, according to a recent poll of likely voters.
The poll, which was commissioned by the Free Press and its media partners and conducted by EPIC-MRA, shows Stabenow with a lead of just 7 points - holding 49 over James’ 42. The newspaper notes that the Democrat [Leftist] has been expected to win by a double-digit margin. The margin of error for the survey is plus or minus 4 percentage points.
Mitchell Research polling released two weeks earlier showed Stabenow with a 9-point lead, and a Detroit News poll released at the beginning of October had James 18 points behind his Democratic opponent.
This suggests that James’ campaign has an outside shot at a highly unexpected Republican upset with Election Day fewer than two weeks away [Establishment Republicans seem to think so as well. I recently starting receiving e-mails from the James campaign seeking donations. He is receiving endorsements from Establishment Republicans. That only occurs for conservatives when Establishment Republicans think they have a very good chance of picking up a Leftist seat. In 2016, they ignored a conservative running in Colorado and he almost won without the help of the Party. It seems they have decided NOT to repeat that mistake. Hopefully, they are also putting money into the campaign. Of course, I’ve been supporting him all along because he is supported by the Senate Conservatives Fund. Have Establishment Republicans decided to fight instead of capitulate? I hope so.].

Democratic [Leftist] Senator Tina Smith is holding on to the Minnesota Senate seat that she currently occupies, but a recent poll shows her lead over Republican challenger state Senator Karin Housley has tightened to single digits.
The Star Tribune-Mason Dixon poll released Monday shows that Housley is trailing the Democratic [Leftist] incumbent by six points, just outside of the 3.5 point margin of error. Smith is leading 47 to 41 percent. This is 10 points tighter than the NBC News-Marist poll conducted weeks earlier that had Smith at a commanding 16-point lead [As I have said many times, polls do not vote. People do. Minnesota is a blue State in general. However, this may be an upset year. I did not have this race on my list of potential conservative wins because it is an election that happened after the list was made.].
Smith was appointed the Senate seat by Democratic [Leftist] Governor Mark Dayton in January after former Senator Al Franken resigned when more than half a dozen women accused him of sexual misconduct. She was Minnesota’s lieutenant governor at the time, and was reportedly appointed because of her close relationship with Dayton - Smith was Dayton’s chief of staff during his first gubernatorial campaign and his running mate in 2014 [She also has strong ties with Planned Murderhood. Unfortunately for Heitkamp, her Republican colleague is not the only person who recognizes her vulnerabilities, and her opponent, Representative Kevin Cramer (R), is on the attack [North Dakota has only one member in the House of Representatives.].
What’s going on?
It takes just a quick Google search to understand that Heitkamp is not in a good position heading into the final two months before the November 6 election. Some recent headlines stated:
1) National Review: ‘Heidi Heitkamp Is Her Own Worst Enemy’
2) New York Times: ‘A Supreme Court Vote Is Just One of Heidi Heitkamp’s Headaches [Will she vote against President Trump’s nominee to please Planned Murderhood and the rest of the Left or will she vote for the nominee to please her constituents since President Trump is very popular in North Dakota?].’
3) NPR [National Public Radio]: ‘Vulnerable Democrat [Leftist], Senator Heitkamp Faces Tough Re-Election Bid’
Among Heitkamp’s many roadblocks to re-election is the fact that she’s a moderate Democrat [Not a chance. She is a Leftist through and through. Her Conservative Review scorecard score is F 8% while Kevin Cramer’s is 30 points higher. The other Senator’s is 11 points higher. None of the three are conservative and Heidi Heitkamp is certainly not a moderate.] not closely aligning with her party in a state President Donald Trump won by nearly 36 points in 2016. North Dakotans overwhelmingly demand their national representatives support Trump’s ‘Make America Great Again’ agenda. Unfortunately for Heitkamp, who is one of Trump’s most supportive congressional Democrats [Leftists], she cannot align herself with Trump for election; she has to hold true to her Democratic [Leftist] Party values, which she has done time and time again by voting against the GOP’s big ticket legislative accomplishments in Congress [F 8%].
Those votes - against tax reform, against Obamacare repeal, against border wall funding, and against a significant number of Trump’s judicial nominees - are paramount in Heitkamp’s uphill battle [While voting for Planned Murderhood and the murder of babies within the womb.]. That’s because this election is the first time she will ever have to run on a legislative record as her previous political experience was in North Dakota’s executive branch.

What about following the Constitution as written and amended? First question for the Left. Define “equal justice” for all? This means an almost certain no vote from Casey. Earlier this week, Trump promised to choose a nominee from a list of 25 conservative leaders, most of whom already are judges on federal circuit courts and state supreme courts.
Pro-life advocates and other conservatives have praised Trump for the possible Supreme Court nominees on his list. He chose conservative Justice Neil Gorsuch from the list in 2017.
Casey voted against Gorsuch and joined a filibuster against his nomination last year [Not a surprise.], according to the report.

He has just a 20-percent pro-life voting record for the current session, and he has received political donations from the largest abortion chain in America, Planned Parenthood [Planned Murderhood DOES NOT give money to any candidate who is pro-life. (Tennessee) Project Veritas Action Fund has released a second undercover video from campaigns during this 2018 election season. This report exposes Tennessee staffers from Phil Bredesen’s U.S. Senate campaign revealing his willingness to court moderate voters through deceit. This was especially evidenced by Bredesen’s recent statement suggesting he would, if he was already in the Senate, vote to confirm now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
James O’Keefe, founder and president of Project Veritas Action, said this report should represent a red flag for all Tennessee voters:
‘Phil Bredesen and his campaign have been shown to lie to Tennesseans, saying one thing to persuade voters on the campaign trail but clearly planning to do something entirely different should he get into office.’

Maria Amalla and Will Stewart, staffers in Bredesen’s campaign, both say on hidden camera that if he were in the Senate, Bredesen would not actually have voted to confirm then-Judge Brett Kavanaugh. I have been concentrating on Senate elections in which Republicans have a good chance of defeating a Leftist incumbent Senator. However, the Left has been pouring millions of dollars into the Texas Senate campaign trying to defeat Senator Ted Cruz. As mentioned in the above referenced post, at least one poll had Leftist Beto O’Rourke leading by 2% points. The Political Action Committee (PAC) who e-mailed that information to me while seeking a donation was jubilant. Last Friday was the first of three debates between the two candidates. Today is Beto’s birthday and over the last two days not counting today I have received a couple of additional e-mails from the PAC. I thought it appropriate for an update based upon the debate and the latest polls. I don’t know if the polling information is before or after the debate. The PAC did not say.

In an act of ‘protest’ that appeared to verge on a violent attack, a group of liberals [Leftists] drove Texas Senator Ted Cruz and his wife out of a Washington, D.C., restaurant Monday, the New York Post reports.
The protest was ostensibly about federal Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination, and most of the verbal attacks seemed to be directed toward that. Footage of the attack, posted by a group calling itself Smash Racism DC, shows the protesters chanting ‘We believe survivors’ as they chased Cruz and his wife Heidi from the unidentified eatery.
‘I know that you’re very close friends with Mr. Kavanaugh,’ one of the activists says to Cruz.
‘But do you believe survivors, sir? We believe survivors [Guilty by accusation. No facts needed. No evidence needed. The way of the Leftist mobocracy.]!”
One protester, describing herself as a constituent and ‘survivor of sexual assault [So?]’ followed the Cruzes throughout the restaurant and said, ‘Senator, I have a right to know what your position is on Brett Kavanaugh [And she will find out when he votes. He is not at the office. He is out to have dinner with his wife. LEAVE HIM ALONE.].’
‘God bless you, ma’am,’ Cruz replied.
‘Vote no on Kavanaugh!’ another protester screamed. ‘Cancel Kavanaugh for women’s rights [Meaning murdering babies within the womb in Leftist speak.].’
However, not all of the protesters were exactly concerned about how the Kavanaugh nomination might affect American women: ‘Beto [Senate opponent.] is hotter than you, dude [So? Was this a man or a woman speaking?],’ one protester can be heard to say, referring to Cruz’s Democrat [Leftist] challenger U.S. Representative Robert “Beto” O’Rourke.
Eventually, after having his table surrounded, Cruz decided it was time to leave.
‘Let’s go ahead and go,’ Cruz said.
They finally managed to get out after a restaurant employee struggled to get the door open, though it wasn’t clear what the problem was.
The group bragged about its thuggishness on Twitter.

I’m also forced to note not infrequently that this is apparently where we are in 2018 - harassment and confrontation [By the Left. They have used both routinely for a very long time.] has replaced civilized discourse, and anyone who’s conservative is considered fair game for public intimidation [And they are getting away with it. According to the Constitution, Congress has control over Washington D.C. Congress unconstitutionally delegated this power to a Washington D. C. government NOT provided for in the Constitution. Nothing in the Constitution gives the Congress authority to delegate its powers to others. Congress should take back its constitutional authority over Washington D.C. If D.C. won’t protect members of the federal government, maybe Congress will.

The Washington Post’s fact checker gave Democratic [Leftist] Senate challenger Beto O’Rourke a Texas-sized rating for evading the truth in evaluating his claim that he did not try to leave the scene of a 1998 [Twenty years ago not 36 years ago. An impartial witness account. Not just an accusation.] auto accident [Lying.].
O’Rourke is battling Republican Senator Ted Cruz in a highly competitive race. Cruz leads O’Rourke by 4.5 percent points according to the Real Clear Politics average of polls, but one poll has the margin as tight as 1 percentage point [Which would be normal with a wide range of polls. Why an average is taken. Depending upon the size of the sample, the normal range is about 3%.].
In August, the Houston Chronicle reported that O’Rouke’s 1998 accident, which he has admitted took place, was ‘a more serious threat to public safety than has previously been reported.’
A Texas Department of Public Safety report from 1998 said that after O’Rourke hit a truck, he tried to leave the scene of the accident [possible felony depending upon State law?] ‘but was stopped by the same motorist he had just passed.’
The motorist, who was not named, ‘then turned on his overhead lights to warn oncoming traffic and to try to get the defendant (O’Rourke) to stop,’ the report said.

But during a debate Friday with Cruz, O’Rourke offered a different version of events.
‘I did not try to leave the scene of the accident,’ O’Rourke said, the Dallas Morning News reported.
In assessing O’Rourke’s denials, the Post’s fact-checker examined a September 1998 report from police officer Richard Carrera.
‘The defendant/driver then attempted to leave the scene,’ Carrera reported, according to The Post. ‘The reporter [of the accident?] then turned on his overhead lights to warn oncoming traffic and try to get the defendant to stop.’
O’Rourke was also drunk at the time of the accident [Drinking and driving.].
A report on the accident said that the ‘defendant [Beto O’Rourke] was unable to be understood due to slurred speech’ and that he had ‘glossy eyes’ and ‘breath that smelled of an alcohol beverage [Drunk.].’
O’Rourke ‘almost fell to the floor’ when asked to step out of the car, the report said and when given a balance test ‘failed by totally losing his balance [Drunk.].’
The Post said the evidence from 1998 makes it hard to support O’Rourke’s claim from Friday’s debate.
‘O’Rourke was so drunk that he could barely get out of the car without falling, so perhaps he would not have gotten far - or he was simply confused. Perhaps in his memory, O’Rourke believes he did not try to leave. But, given his blood alcohol content at the time of the crash, O’Rourke’s memory 20 years after the fact is not nearly as credible as the police reports written just hours after the crash [You think.],’ The Post wrote.

‘O’Rourke could have dodged the question during the debate or he could have said his memory of the night is not clear. Instead, he chose to dispute the factual record. We also believe in second chances, and O’Rourke should revise his answer if given another opportunity. In the meantime, he earns four Pinocchios,’ The Post wrote.
A rating of four Pinocchios is the fact checker’s top rating for lack of truth in a politician’s claim [Lying.].

‘In one of the sharpest exchanges of the night, Mr. Cruz argued that Mr. O’Rourke often sided against the police, and accused the congressman of describing law enforcement officers as ‘modern day Jim Crow.’ Mr. Cruz added, ‘I think it is offensive to call police officers modern day Jim Crow [It is also WRONG.]. That is not Texas.’’
Mr. O’Rourke denied that he described police officers that way. But on Wednesday, at a town hall event at Prairie View A&M University, a historically black college in Prairie View, Texas, Mr. O’Rourke had complained about racism within the criminal justice system, including racial profiling and unjust police shootings of people of color [Which is nonsense. Overwhelmingly, Blacks shoot Blacks. Just as overwhelmingly, whites shoot whites. It is the Left’s normal alteration of facts. Also known as lying.].
According to a video clip of part of his speech, Mr. O’Rourke referred to a system in which police officers suspect, search and shoot people ‘solely based on the color of their skin,’ and added, ‘It is why some have called this, and I think it is an apt description, the new Jim Crow.’

West Virginia has five members in Congress consisting of three members in the House of Representatives and two Senators. All three members in the House are Republicans. Joe Manchin is a Leftist Senator. The other Senator is an Establishment Republican who was a member of the House of Representatives before being elected to the Senate in 2014 when the Republicans took control of the Senate.
