I am a Christian, Constitutionalist, conservative.

I changed my planned post for tonight. Because I was a teacher and a school board member and because I am a Christian concerned about the increasing moral depravity in this nation, I have been paying attention to the radical transsexual agenda of the Left. Our local school board had a discussion about the issue earlier this year and last night at it's Broad meeting had another.

I sent e-mails to all of the Board members, the Superintendent, our local weekly paper, and our local Tea Party group. I also sent an attachment, which I don’t know how to post on this site. Therefore, there is no attachment. The attachment was of a Marana School Board meeting in which I proposed changing the sport’s season for girls’ softball and basketball. At the time, girls played softball in the winter and basketball in the spring. My proposal changed it to softball in the spring and basketball in the winter. It passed and eventually all the public schools in Arizona, as far as I know, also changed. Below is that e-mail:

Transsexual proposal

I read the article in the Morton Times-News today concerning the Board’s discussion in relation to the transsexual issue in Morton and the proposal written by Alliance Defending Freedom. Without reading the actual written proposal, I strongly support the moral requirement to keep restroom facilities, shower facilities, and sports, along with any other relevant side issues such as overnight sleeping situations, separate based upon the actual sex of the individual.

After the first such Board discussion, I read the comments published by the Peoria Journal Star written by a radical member of the ACLU condemning some Morton Board members. In response, I wrote a “letter to the editor” e-mailed on 6/13/16 that was published by the Peoria Journal Star. In case some Board members did not read it, the letter said the following:

“The Left, including the ACLU, is waging a war on women. The latest is the nonsense of transsexual ‘rights’ for males/females who think they are females/males.

Biologically, there are two sexes—male and female. Males have XY chromosomes. Females are XX. A male, thinking he is female, is no more female than I am a Black female because I think it.

I was a high school government teacher in Illinois [St. Charles High School] when Title IX was passed in 1972. My Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary © 1995 doesn’t have ‘transgender’ as a word. ‘Transsexual’ became a word in 1957. Title IX never covered ‘transsexuals.’ The Obama Administration is not interpreting the law. It is unconstitutionally rewriting the law.

In Alaska recently, a male, thinking he is female, won third in the 200 meter and fifth in the 100 meter dashes at the girls’ State track meet. If he had raced as a male [at the male State track meet], he would not have been at the State meet. Title IX was passed, in part, to allow sports for females. If this nonsense continues to its logical conclusion, there will be no more girls’ sports. Males, claiming to be female, will dominate.

A person’s rights ends when the rights of others are adversely affected. The Left claims the ‘rights’ of less than 1% of the population overrides the rights of everyone. I graduated from Morton High and was a school board member in Arizona. I will fight to the end to stop this attack on females through the Department of Education.

To the three Board members who, according to the article, support the Alliance Defending Freedom’s proposal: thank you. Local school board members in Illinois need to be proactive. Constitutionally, the federal government has no authority in the realm of education. Education is exclusively a State and local issue.

To the four Board members who, according to the article, do not currently actively support the Alliance Defending Freedom’s proposal: I have these questions and a comment.

1) If a student, who has a tested I.Q. of 120 and does well in school, thinks he is a special education student do you place him in the special education program because he believes he belongs there?

2) If a student who thinks he can fly wants to jump off of a school roof to prove it, do you allow him to jump?

3) If a student believes he is a talented math teacher although he has no math skills, do you allow him to teach math because he thinks he is gifted?

4) Do you cater to the whims of a student, who thinks something is true even though it is demonstrably not true, because he believes it to be true?

5) If you have a female child who is in high school, would you knowingly allow her to share a restroom, share a shower facility, participate in a sport, and share a hotel room overnight with a male high school student who thinks he is a female?

6) If you would not, why do you think other parents in the district should be forced to accept what you would not?

7) If you would, do you really believe you are serving the best interests of all the students in the school district? Because quite frankly if you would allow this to occur with your own daughter, I don’t believe you are qualified to serve on a school board.

I was a high school teacher for ten years in Illinois and a school board member in Arizona for four years. Under no circumstances would I allow a transsexual student to be involved in any area based upon his/her belief rather than the actual biological fact. The federal government constitutionally has no say in education and the State will think twice about imposing something on school districts where the board members and the citizens of the communities are actively opposed to such an immoral law. Actions have consequences. Inactions have consequences. Silence has consequences. I will do all that I can to stop the increasing immorality of our society. I expect our school board to do the same.

No male has the right to participate as a female in any school activities directed for females. No female has the right to participate as a male in any school activities directed for males. United school boards can prevent the State from passing this obscene, radical, immoral agenda. As a school board member in Arizona, our Board started the process of changing the sport seasons for girls’ basketball and girls’ softball for the entire State public education system. Before I made the proposal, I was told by both our Superintendent and the athletic directors from our conference that it could not be done. They were wrong.

The National Debt: Proposals to Retire the National Debt over Time Without Ineffective Constitutional Amendments

Yesterday, I posted the increase in the national debt for the last fiscal year which was the third largest dollar increase in history and came as the Republican Party controlled both Houses of Congress which is constitutionally responsible for the federal government budget. The question then becomes what to do about this continued spending problem of the federal government. And yes, it is a spending problem.

The immediate beginning solution is to get as many constitutional conservative candidates elected to Congress in 2016 as possible. For the Senate, I’m supporting three constitutional conservatives who are running against two liberal Republicans and one liberal Democrat.

In Colorado, Darryl Glenn is running against Democrat incumbent Michael Bennet. Conservative Review’s Scorecard has ranked Senator Bennet as the lowest ranked member in Congress from Colorado. “Senator Michael Bennet Democrat Colorado F 8%.”

In Alaska, Joe Miller who was the conservative Republican candidate for the Senate in 2010 was defeated by present incumbent Lisa Murkowski who ran as a write-in candidate after losing to Joe Miller in the Republican primary. In the general election, the national Republican Party supported liberal Lisa Murkowski over constitutional conservative Joe Miller. Lisa Murkowski has the lowest Conservative Review scorecard ranking of the three Alaskan Congressmen. “Lisa Murkowski Republican Alaska F 20%.” Lisa Murkowski originally was appointed to the Senate by her father who was the Alaskan governor at the time. Joe Miller is running as the Libertarian Party candidate this time eschewing the Republican primary.

In Illinois, both the Republican incumbent and the Democrat challenger are liberals and have very low Conservative Review Scorecard rankings. “Mark Steven Kirk Republican Illinois F 17%.” “Representative Tammy Duckworth Democrat Illinois Congressional District 8 F 15%.” I’m supporting Chad Koppie who is a write-in candidate for the Constitution Party of Illinois and who is the only constitutional conservative candidate running for the Senate in Illinois.

In a future post I will give the candidates for the House of Representatives who I support who are constitutional conservatives. We need to get as many into Congress this election that we can. We need to turn the Congress constitutional conservative.

Second, we need to shrink the federal government by ending those departments and agencies which are not provided for by the Constitution. Over the years, the Congress has added Departments and agencies that are not constitutional. Bureaucracies grow larger and larger over time consuming more and more money in the process. The unconstitutional ones need to be ended.

Downsizing the Federal Government through the Constitution:

* Should be part of the federal government as provided by the Constitution. All others should not be. Below are a list of the various Departments and when the Department came into being. Note the Department of Defense is basically a name change. It began as the Department of War in 1789 along with the other original Departments.

Congress needs to begin the process of dissolving those Departments which are not provided for by the Constitution. The Departments should be removed in reverse order of when created. Also, five agencies/“independent” agencies that have become rogue agencies need to be disbanded within a year. These five agencies are:

1) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)—½ budget from 2012 to close down and the next year gone

The EPA does whatever it wants to do! Why not? The Congress does NOTHING to stop them and President Barack Hussein Obama certainly will not!

2) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)—½ budget from 2012 to close down and the next year gone

3) Federal Communications Commission (FCC)—½ budget from 2012 to close down and the next year gone

4) Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) [Dodd-Frank]—½ budget from 2012 to close down and the next year gone

5) National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA)—½ budget from 2012 to close down and the next year gone

In fiscal year 2017, the EPA receives ½ of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012. That money is to be used to close down the agency by the end of the fiscal year. In the 2018 fiscal year, there will be no EPA.

In fiscal year 2017, OSHA receives ½ of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012. That money is to be used to close down the agency by the end of the fiscal year. In the 2018 fiscal year, there will be no OSHA.

In fiscal year 2017, the FCC receives ½ of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012. That money is to be used to close down the agency by the end of the fiscal year. In the 2018 fiscal year, there will be no FCC.

In fiscal year 2017, the CFPB receives ½ of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012. That money is to be used to close down the agency by the end of the fiscal year. In the 2018 fiscal year, there will be no CFPB.

In fiscal year 2017, the NTIA receives ½ of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012. That money is to be used to close down the agency by the end of the fiscal year. In the 2018 fiscal year, there will be no NTIA.

The first three Departments to be ended:

Education | 50% of budget first fiscal year

Energy | 25% of budget second fiscal year

Transportation | 25% of budget third fiscal year

In each case in fiscal year 2017, the Departments receive ½ of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012. In fiscal year 2018 the Departments receive 25% of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012. In fiscal year 2019 the Departments receive 25% of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012 which closes out the Department by the end of the 2019 fiscal year.

All other Department budgets are frozen at fiscal year 2012 levels except for the Departments of Defense, State, Justice, and Treasury. Veterans Affairs is merged back into the Department of Defense. Healthcare of veterans is turned over to the free enterprise system—local doctors, local hospitals, free market choices for insurance.

The next three Departments to be ended:

Housing and Urban Development

Health and Human Services

Labor

In each case in fiscal year 2018, the Departments receive ½ of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012. In fiscal year 2019, the Departments receive 25% of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012. In fiscal year 2020, the Departments receive 25% of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012 which closes out the Department by the end of the 2020 fiscal year.

The last two Departments to be ended:

Commerce

Agriculture

In each case in fiscal year 2019, the Departments receive ½ of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012. In fiscal year 2020, the Departments receive 25% of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012. In fiscal year 2021, the Departments receive 25% of its budget from the base year budget of fiscal year 2012 which closes out the Department by the end of the 2021 fiscal year.

If Congress chooses to do so, Congress may create a Department of Interstate Commerce based upon the power granted to it under Section 8 of Article I and only upon that power.

“Independent” agencies will be scrutinized on a case by case basis and dealt with accordingly.

Third, simplify the federal tax system in three phases. The first phase deals with businesses, organizations, and nonprofits.

Taxes should be collected only to finance the powers, functions, and operations of the government. Collecting taxes to redistribute wealth in any fashion is unethical, immoral, and, in the case of the federal government, unconstitutional. It is nothing less than government sanctioned theft.

The first phase deals with the income tax and other specific taxes in relation to businesses, organizations, and nonprofits. The second phase is to redesign the federal individual income tax system. The third is to change the system for FICA (Federal Insurance Contributions Act) taxes and other federal taxes many of which are hidden or generally unknown by the public. Each phase will have a two year implementation process to allow the economy to adjust to the changes. The next phase will not be passed and implemented until after each two year adjustment period.

The first phase includes ending the federal minimum wage and all related regulations. Governments do not have the power or the knowledge to determine the value of labor. The federal government also does not have the constitutional authority to regulate wages. Also, the proposal will end all inheritance/estate taxes at the federal level and the related gift tax provisions.

The current system of profit/nonprofit businesses and organizations will be ended. There will be no distinction between the two. No business or organization of whatever classification from self-employed, to partnerships, to LLC, to all the various forms of corporations will pay any income tax on any income/profit as long as that money is within the business or organization. In short, there will be no federal income tax imposed on any business or organization.

No federal money to any business or organization except for services rendered. No government experiments, aiding of businesses, or any other activity that is not for services rendered.

Fourth, freeze ALL regulations imposed by the Obama Administration for two years. No regulation is re-imposed unless approved by Congress by law for those Departments and agencies that will not be ended because they are constitutional approved.

You can not win the election if you do not run for the office. You can not win the election if you do not get on the ballot.

The National Debt, Congress, the Republican Party, and the Capitulation Party

The federal government’s fiscal year ended September 30, 2016. How did we do financially as a nation in controlling our national debt now that the Republicans control both Houses of Congress?

Remember this: Congress is responsible for the final budget not the President. With the Republican Party controlling BOTH the House and the Senate, the national debt increased by the third highest amount since 2001 and the third highest in the history of the nation. The Republican Party through Congress is responsible for this fiscal year’s increase of almost one and one half trillion dollars. This happened because the Republican Party has become the Capitulation Party giving President Obama free rein to spend, spend, spend including the continued financing of Planned Murderhood.

Congressman: ‘Not good for the country, not good for the taxpayer’

House Freedom Caucus Chairman Representative Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is furious that yet another bloated bill to keep the government running was approved on Capitol Hill this week and he fears it will only set the stage for an even greater spending binge come December. [And he should be! More importantly, every single taxpayer in the country should be! We as a nation are spending ourselves into economic extinction. The national debt has more than tripled over the last fifteen years! More than tripled!]

Jordan says this move was designed by party leaders to avoid a government shutdown that would surely be blamed on Republicans [Why? If the Republicans pass a budget and it is vetoed, it is the fault of President Obama not the Republicans. Furthermore, by law, the government DOES NOT shut down. The nonessential parts of the federal government close down until a budget is reached.], even though he says it’s really the Democrats that gummed up the appropriations process.

‘It’s not good for the country and not good for the taxpayer,’ said Jordan.

The legislation, known as a continuing resolution, easily passed the U.S. Senate 72-26 on Wednesday, followed by a similarly lopsided 342-85 margin in the House. It keeps federal funding at existing levels [Including money for Planned Murderhood!] but also includes special funding for Zika response [More spending!], aid for flood victims in Louisiana [More spending!] and other projects [More spending! The Democrats who control neither House got everything they wanted! Why is that? How is that possible? The Capitulation Party capitulated once more and will do so again in December if the past is an example for the future!].

Jordan says he voted against the bill for multiple reasons, including Congress failing to follow regular order and approve 13 individual spending bills rather than one giant bill that only the leadership of both parties in the House and Senate got to craft [No amendments were allowed and the House did not have three days to examine the bill as required by House rules!].

He also says it ignores our nation’s balance sheet once again [Increasing the national debt!].

‘I think when you’ve got a $20 trillion debt, you’ve got to try to get a handle on the spending. Here we are increasing it at a time when the deficit went up this year. Really? We’re just going to go ahead and spend at that level. (The House Freedom Caucus) felt that didn’t make sense and that’s why we were against the earlier budget proposal in the Spring of this year as well [and they are correct!],’ said Jordan.

While Jordan is frustrated that spending levels negotiated by President Obama and former House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, are still in place, he says Democrats are very effective at forcing the GOP’s hand [Because the Capitulation Party is unwilling to fight for what they CLAIM to believe!].

‘Primarily, it’s not happening because in the Senate, Harry Reid won’t let the individual bills come up for a vote. That’s the way it’s supposed to work,’ said Jordan. ‘He’s been able to win every fight by saying, ‘Look, I’m going to hold up defense spending until you give me the spending I want on domestic issues [Harry Reid is the Minority Leader not the Majority Leader!].’

‘What that means is taxpayers get the short end. I think, frankly, our military gets the short end of that deal too and it’s just not good for the country,’ said Jordan.

Jordan says Republicans would be in a position to cut spending without Reid’s parliamentary games [The majority controls the Senate. They can’t stop his parliamentary maneuvers? The answer is “yes,” if they really wanted to stop them!].

‘If we could get our troops funded and our military funded at the right level and get that bill taken care of early, then I think we could go after some of the ridiculous spending and some of the ridiculous regulations within the federal government,’ said Jordan.

He says Republicans always end up giving in as government shutdowns loom because the party refuses to frame the debate in a way that would be a winner for them in the court of public opinion. Jordan says the party needs to fight [What an understatement!].

Last year, he says the battle should have been waged over Planned Parenthood funding in the wake of videos explaining how the nation’s largest abortion provider alters their methods of killing unborn babies in order to preserve organs for which researchers pay the most money.

This year, Jordan thinks the battle should have been pitched over tightening up the vetting of Middle East refugees [Ending the invasion of Middle East refugees].

Incidentally, Planned Parenthood funding may soon be increasing due to the provisions associated with the Zika funding [Will be! The Obama Administration will make sure that happens!].

So why did 70 percent of House Republicans vote for the continuing resolution? Jordan says there are multiple reasons, but the political calendar is the most likely explanation.

‘Some are OK with the spending levels and everything else, but for some I think it was also a concern about a shutdown scenario here five weeks before a presidential election [Because they are NOT willing to fight for what they claim to believe. Democrats are! Far too many so-called Republicans are not!],’ said Jordan.

The government is now funded until December 9. Jordan says that debate will look even uglier as a lame duck session cobbles together funding through September 2017 [Has for the last two years!].

‘We’re kicking a big spending measure into a lame duck session; a lame duck session when a number of members will no longer be accountable to the voters. The voters will just have spoken, just picked a Congress for the upcoming year. Yet, they’re [The current Congress which will have defeated and retiring members voting on spending for the next year because the fiscal year budget was not passed before September 30th.] going to be going back and dealing with billions of dollars of spending,’ said Jordan.

Jordan says that never turns out well for taxpayers.

‘In the last five years, we have seen what happens in lame duck sessions. We’ve seen what happens right before the holidays. You get tax increases. You get omnibus, cromnibus, big spending measures. It never works out good for the taxpayers and families of this country in my judgment,’ said Jordan.

The congressman says this is yet another aspect of the system that drives voters crazy, as Washington operates under a different set of rules than most hardworking Americans.

‘There are two standards. One for ‘We the People’ and a different one for the politically connected. One for us regular folks and another if your name is Lois Lerner, John Koskinen or Hillary Clinton,’ said Jordan referring to IRS officials neck-deep in the scandal of the government harassing conservative groups and individuals.

And just this week, lawmakers, including Jordan, grilled FBI Director Jim Comey over multiple immunity offers and no prosecutions in the investigation of Clinton’s handling of classified information and her use of a private server [She violated the Espionage Act and was allowed to skate. If she gets elected President, the first thing the new House should do is impeach her!].

Jordan says the public is incensed, even if the Justice Department is not.

‘That’s why you see such strong appeal for Donald Trump, particularly in our state of Ohio. It’s because they know he’s going to come in and shake up the system [I do not think he will! He will also greatly increase government spending if his new proposed programs are passed!], which needs to happen,’ said Jordan.”

Climate Change/“Man-Made” Global Warming, and Record High Temperatures in September in Morton, Illinois

As I did for July and August, I am posting the record high temperatures for September in Morton, Illinois. This should be the last time I post them. The pattern is obvious. Historically, the 1930’s had a significantly larger number of record high temperatures than any decade since temperatures have been kept on a regular basis. No one accused man of “creating” those high temperatures and for good reason. Man does not control the weather. Man does not control the climate. Man does not control the temperatures. Fraudulent, fake, phony “science” with not change that truth!

Man-made global warming is a fraud. It has been proven to be a fraud. Scientists, who had a financial interest in promoting the myth of man-made global warming, cooked the books, changed the data, ignored contradictory data, and lied to advance the agenda of the Left. The Left changed the emphasis from man-made global warming to climate change. Climate change is a non-issue misnomer. By definition, the climate, which is weather overtime, is always changing. The climate temperatures can only do one of three things—increase, decrease, or stay the same. Overtime from year to year, weather never stays the same. Therefore, overtime climate by definition is changing.

Since the 1980’s, there have only been three new record high temperatures in September in Morton. Where exactly is the global warming, man-made or otherwise?

Remember, when there are two or more days with the same record high temperature, the most recent day is given as the record high. Therefore if the record high temperature on September 30 was 89°F in 1887, 1937, and 2015; the 2015 date would be used because it is the most recent.

“Man-made” global warming does not pass the logic test. “Man-made” global warming does not pass the facts test. “Man-made” global warming does not pass the scientific test. “Man-made” global warming is a LIE made by man to advance a radical worldwide agenda to control all people throughout the world. There is NO significant “man-made” global warming and never was. Garbage in equals garbage out. “Man-made” global warming is garbage.

GOD set up the system for weather and climate. GOD controlled the system in the beginning and that system STILL functions today. Man can not control the weather and climate any more than he can control human nature!
