The last election results occurred in Louisiana on Saturday. These were runoff elections where no candidate received 50 + 1 percent of the vote in the primary which was held on election day. The Senate seat was contested and two House seats were contested. All three were won by Republicans. Therefore the new Congress for 2017-2018 will consist of the following:
Senate:
Republicans: 52 members (loss of 2 seats. Lost Illinois and New Hampshire which were expected. The two Senators who lost had 2 of the 3 lowest Conservative Review scores of any Republican Senators up for reelection. The Republicans had 24 seats up for reelection and lost only two of the three most liberal/Leftist members. The Democrats had 10 seats up for reelection. They could have lost Colorado but establish Republican leadership refused to help a conservative Republican to defeat a radical Democrat. The leadership works harder to defeat a conservative than to defeat Democrats. Why is that?)

“‘The epidemic of deaths involving opioids continues to worsen,’ said CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] Director Tom Frieden in a statement.
In a report released Thursday, the CDC said the number of heroin deaths in America continues to increase.
‘In a grim milestone, more people died from heroin-related causes than from gun homicides in 2015. As recently as 2007, gun homicides outnumbered heroin deaths by more than 5 to 1.’
“The prescription opioid and heroin epidemic continues to devastate communities and families across the country—in large part because too many people still do not get effective substance use disorder treatment [Substance use disorder treatment? Leftist speak. They are addicts. For the most part, they became addicts through their own choice of using addictive drugs.],’ said Michael Botticelli, Director of National Drug Control Policy. ‘That is why the President has called since February for $1 billion in new funding to expand access to treatment [This IS NOT a constitutional power of Congress and therefore of the federal government. Each State should deal with the “problem” as they decide. I seriously doubt that access is the major problem in relation to drug addiction. The federal solution always seems to be to spend more money regardless of the results. We are approaching twenty trillion dollars for the national debt and the solution for all problems seems to be that the federal government should spend more money. Notice the number of gun murders on this CDC report? 12,979. The next time Bloomberg or Newsom tries to use another number, make sure you point them back here to what their own government reports the number is. Not 300,000, not 30,000—12, 979.
Now we need to find the arrest rate for those murders and strengthen our criminal justice system to ensure those individuals are not allowed to kill again.
If the anti-gun violence agenda was serious about ending this epidemic, they’d take our suggestions to fix the system and truly end these senseless murders.
There is a way to end gun violence and gun homicides, but the answer isn’t a gun ban or gun control, it’s with the suggestions laid out by responsibly armed citizens, and it’s what we work so hard to ratify here in America.”

Question: Where is the murder of unborn babies through abortion which very conservatively is at least a million murders through abortion in a year. Where is it? It is ignored because it is politically correct to shield abortion/murder from any consideration that may be negative.
The real #1 cause of death in the United States is the MURDER of unborn babies:
