The last election results occurred in Louisiana on Saturday. These were runoff elections where no candidate received 50 + 1 percent of the vote in the primary which was held on election day. The Senate seat was contested and two House seats were contested. All three were won by Republicans. Therefore the new Congress for 2017-2018 will consist of the following:
Senate:
Republicans: 52 members (loss of 2 seats. Lost Illinois and New Hampshire which were expected. The two Senators who lost had 2 of the 3 lowest Conservative Review scores of any Republican Senators up for reelection. The Republicans had 24 seats up for reelection and lost only two of the three most liberal/Leftist members. The Democrats had 10 seats up for reelection. They could have lost Colorado but establish Republican leadership refused to help a conservative Republican to defeat a radical Democrat. The leadership works harder to defeat a conservative than to defeat Democrats. Why is that?)

The recently passed defense authorization bill did not include the controversial draft provision requiring women to sign up for the Selective Service. [A sign of some sanity in Congress! Women should not be in military combat roles as now ordered by the Obama Administration let alone draftable.] As a result, a writer for the Federalist lays out a convincing case why that may be a good thing: in short, science itself dictates, from a physical perspective, women are relatively bad at war. [For a good reason, GOD did not create women to be warriors, all the propaganda from the Left aside.].
It’s been a bone of contention for more than 30 years, the notion that women can, and indeed should, serve in combat roles [Deliberately, in my opinion, increasing the danger for both men and women involved in combat (The opinion part is that it has been done deliberately. There is no question that women in combat increases the danger for both men and women). An absolutely asinine concept from a President who hasn’t come close to knowing what combat is like. It is the continuing real war on women being waged by the Left! Women as warriors is a Leftist LIE!]. During his tenure, President Barack Obama made women eligible for all combat positions. And even though women have tried and failed to pass some of the most rigorous combat training courses, [While their lives and the lives of others are not actually in danger. In short, they failed without actually being in combat. Being in actual combat is a whole new, higher dimension. War is NOT an athletic contest! It is much, much worse!] it remains a feminist battle cry that women should have the right to fight (“Right” to fight becomes the reality of dying! What is the Left’s fascination with killing women? They are murdering young females through abortion/murder and trying to add killing women through military combat. Why do they hate women so?).
Travis Scott, a writer for The Federalist, takes that argument and turns it on its head using what the left side of the political spectrum says they love [Only when they think it helps their agenda. They hate science when it proves that life begins at conception!]—science:

Young women are more vulnerable to these injuries, many of which often lead to osteoporosis, even shortly after proper recovery.
And that’s just a small part of his exhaustive case against women in combat using the one thing that women can’t shed themselves of, no matter how hard they try: their sex. [GOD made men and women different for a reason. They are to compliment each other. They are not to be the same as each other!].
He concludes with the writings of Capt Katie Patrino, author of the book, ‘Get Over It! We Are Not All Created Equal’:

I am not personally hearing female Marines, enlisted or officer, pounding on the doors of Congress claiming that their inability to serve in the infantry violates their right to equality. Shockingly, this isn’t even a congressional agenda. This issue is being pushed by several groups, one of which is a small committee of civilians … it’s very surprising to see that none of the committee members are on active duty or have any recent combat or relevant operational experience relating to the issue they are attempting to change ….’
The entire thing is worth a read. Perhaps we shouldn’t be asking our women to fight like men [Because they can not fight like men since they are not men.] unless and until, God forbid, it becomes absolutely necessary [And not then!].”
I taught high school students for ten years. My first year I taught at a small school that had two hundred students. I was the varsity baseball coach and fresh-soph basketball coach before girls competed in high school athletics. Later, I was a school board member for four years in Arizona. I took my children, a girl and a boy, to the fall football games, winter boys’ basketball games, and spring girls’ basketball games. One year our girls won the State championship in our class. I watched my daughter play girls’ basketball and girls’ softball. I was a season ticket holder for University of Arizona softball. Arizona women’s softball has won 8 NCAA champions only behind UCLA for the most.
My fresh-soph basketball team was 16-6 and the two best sophomore players never played for me because they were starters on the varsity team. I have watched Morton High School varsity basketball since the 2004-2005 season. My fresh-soph basketball team without its two best sophomores would defeat any high school girls’ varsity basketball team I’ve seen. Morton has won the Illinois State varsity tournament in class 3A (four classes with 4A being the largest schools) the last two seasons and is 10-0 this season. Morton has the school records posted at its track stadium for both the girls and the boys. Every record is significantly better for the boys in comparison to the girls. That’s true for any sport were both males and females compete. Males and females are built differently for a reason and no one on the Left is going to change that biological fact!
The fact is, that girls/women are built differently than boys/men by GOD’S design. The fact is, by high school girls can not compete with boys in any sport where both participate. Their biology is different.
Men are built to be warriors; women are not. The fact is, it is militarily insane to put women in combat roles! The fact is, women in combat roles increase the danger for both men and women. Women in combat needs to be ended immediately by the new Administration and Congress.
