The UN is a completely failed organization. It needs to be defunded

¨ For its attacks on the sovereign State of Israel,

¨ For its promotion of and support for murdering babies within the womb and the radical homosexual agenda.

¨ For supporting and promoting the scientific nonsense of man-made global warming,

¨ And for its call for one world government in direct violation of the sovereignty of the United States of America.

¨ Then, the US needs to get out of the UN and get the UN out of the US.

“Why President Trump’s Executive Order Is Vital to Protecting America

http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2017/02/06/gabriel-president-trumps-executive-order-vital-protecting-america/

President Trump’s executive order regarding seven terror-infested countries could not be more critical to ensuring the safety of all Americans. Those who oppose this executive order do so at their own peril and that of their fellow citizens [The Left does not care. It is about advancing their agenda not about the safety of the American people.].

First of all, there is no Muslim ban,’ contrary to what the fake news media would have you believe.

There is a ban [moratorium] against travel to the U.S. from seven of the highest risk countries for terrorist activity. It isn’t President Trump’s fault all seven of those countries happen to be almost entirely Islamic. If the Vatican presented the same risk for terrorism as Somalia, they too would have been listed in the executive order. Fortunately, we seem to have the Catholic suicide bomber threat under control.”

“More than a decade later, we are still battling this same enemy, which has metastasized tremendously. Not only are we struggling to eliminate Islamic terrorism in the Middle East, we are welcoming this enemy onto our shores with open arms [Which is, unbelievably, a part of the Lefts agenda to destroy nation States.].

Refugee resettlement from terror-ridden countries is one of the most dangerous endeavors our nation could implement [Of course it is].”

Take Back the Nation

I am a Christian, Constitutionalist, conservative

Isaiah 1: 1-31 (NIV)

The vision concerning Judah and Jerusalem [Applicable to the United States today, in my opinion. GOD is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. HE is righteous, just, and true yesterday, today, and tomorrow!] that Isaiah son of Amoz saw during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

Hear me, you heavens! Listen, earth! For the Lord has spoken: ‘I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me [The United States has and is rebelling against GOD!]. The ox knows its master, the donkey its owner’s manger, but Israel [the United States] does not know, my people [the United States] do not understand.’

Woe to the sinful nation [the United States], a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the Lord; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel [the United States] and turned their backs on him.

Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion? Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted. From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness—only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with olive oil.

Your country is desolate, your cities burned with fire; your fields are being stripped by foreigners right before you, laid waste as when overthrown by strangers. Daughter Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a cucumber field, like a city under siege. Unless the Lord Almighty had left us some survivors, we would have become like Sodom [destroyed by GOD because of homosexual sin!], we would have been like Gomorrah [destroyed by GOD because of homosexual sin!].

[Read Genesis 18 and 19 for the Biblical account. Genesis 19: 23-29 (NIV)]

“By the time Lot reached Zoar, the sun had risen over the land. Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the Lord out of the heavens. Thus he [GOD] overthrew those cities and the entire plain, destroying all those living in the cities [A righteous act by a righteous GOD WHO destroyed evil people who refused to repent from their evil. And yes, I believe the account and so did JESUS the SON of GOD. HE referenced Sodom and/or Gomorrah several times. Matthew 10: 15 (NIV) “Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.”]—and also the vegetation in the land. But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.

Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the Lord. He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace.

So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he [GOD] brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.”

This is also why homosexual radicals attack Christians who speak out against homosexual behavior. Christians who know the Bible know that homosexual behavior is sin punishable by spiritual death. There is NO rightto homosexual behavior and people are NOT born homosexual. Homosexual behavior is learned behavior. Therefore, people do not have to be involved in the behavior and people can repent and STOP being involved in the behavior!]

Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom [the United States]; listen to the instruction of our God, you people of Gomorrah [the United States]! ‘The multitude of your sacrifices—what are they to me?’ says the Lord. ‘I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats. When you come to appear before me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts? Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations—I cannot bear your worthless assemblies. Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals I hate with all my being. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them. When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you [the present or the future for the United States?]; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening [the present or the future for the United States?].

Your hands are full of blood [the present for the United States as we as a nation MURDER over a million babies a year through government sanctioned abortions!]!

Wash and make yourselves clean [Will we?]. Take your evil deeds out of my sight [Will we?]; stop doing wrong [Will we?]. Learn to do right [Will we?]; seek justice [Will we?]. Defend the oppressed [Will we? Who are more oppressed than murdered babies?]. Take up the cause of the fatherless [Will we? GODS family structure not mans]; plead the case of the widow [Will we? GODS family structure not mans].’

‘Come now, let us settle the matter,’ says the Lord. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient [Stop rebelling], you will eat the good things of the land; but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.’ For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

See how the faithful city has become a prostitute! She once was full of justice; righteousness used to dwell in her—but now murderers! Your silver has become dross, your choice wine is diluted with water. Your rulers are rebels, partners with thieves; they all love bribes and chase after gifts. They do not defend the cause of the fatherless; the widow’s case does not come before them.

Therefore the Lord, the Lord Almighty, the Mighty One of Israel, declares: ‘Ah! I will vent my wrath on my foes and avenge myself on my enemies. I will turn my hand against you; I will thoroughly purge away your dross and remove all your impurities. I will restore your leaders as in days of old, your rulers as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City.’

Zion will be delivered with justice, her penitent ones with righteousness. But rebels and sinners will both be broken, and those who forsake the Lord will perish. ‘You will be ashamed because of the sacred oaks in which you have delighted; you will be disgraced because of the gardens that you have chosen. You will be like an oak with fading leaves, like a garden without water. The mighty man will become tinder and his work a spark; both will burn together, with no one to quench the fire.’”

“Bill introduced to terminate the Department of Education, bringing funding back to the states
Dana Loesch | February 9, 2017

While the Senate was busy debating and finally confirming Betsy Devos as the next Secretary of Education, Representative Thomas Massie (R-Kentucky) [Conservative Review Scorecard score A 94%] introduced a bill to abolish the entire Department of Education on December 31st, 2018 [It is not now and never has been a constitutional Department. In fact, at least eight of the federal Departments are unconstitutional. The federal government has NO authority over education. Education is not mentioned in the Constitution anywhere.]. Representative Massie joins Dana Loesch to discuss his bill, which has gone viral on the internet.

Representative Massie explains how the Department of Education has roughly 4,500 bureaucrats making around $105,000 apiece a year, dictating to states what the students will learn and how they will learn it. He states by making this cut there will be more funding available to the states to be spent in the school system.

“5 smart reasons to abolish the Department of Education
By: Logan Albright | February 11, 2017

At the very moment of Betsy DeVos’ confirmation as secretary of Education, Representative Thomas Massie, R-Kentucky (A, 94%) pointedly introduced a bill calling for the elimination of the Department of Education [Should have never been created. President Reagan ran on repealing it but it didnt happen. The Department of Education was spun off of the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare in 1979 which was one year before President Reagan was elected in 1980.].

This has been a long-held goal of conservative Republicans [Since it was created by the Left.], and now that they control all three branches [two branches of government. The Republicans do not control the federal courts.] of government, there may never be a better opportunity to finally end the thing. One of the few policy areas in which President Trump has been consistent is his support for school choice and scorn for federal education policy.

Speaking on Fox News Sunday in 2015, Trump said, ‘I may cut the Department of Education [He is NOT the Congress. He can not cutthe Department of Education. That is the responsibility of Congress by law. He can and should sign any such bill that does terminate the Department of Education.] ,’ and in his book ‘Crippled America,’ released the same year, he wrote ‘A lot of people believe the Department of Education should just be eliminated. Get rid of it. If we don’t eliminate it completely, we certainly need to cut its power and reach. Education has to be run locally [Education is strictly a State responsibility.].’ So there is opportunity if only Republicans in Congress are brave enough to seize it [There is the rub. Are they? Will they? The Capitulation Republicans of the last six years would not. Just last year, when the Republicans had a greater majority in Congress, they voted to increase spending for the Department of Education and expanded federal education control over even more of education expanding into pre-kindergarten. My member of the House even bragged about it as one of hisgreataccomplishments since taking office in a special election. Will this Congress be willing to end the Department?].

To help push them in the right direction, here are five reasons why the Department of Education should be eliminated.

1) Its unconstitutional

The word ‘education’ never occurs in the U.S. Constitution. Already, this should mean that the federal government has no business interfering with education policy, since the Constitution is a list of enumerated powers. In other words, the Constitution is a comprehensive list of things the federal government is allowed to do, and anything not included is de facto forbidden [Correct.].

To make this doubly clear, the 10th Amendment in the Bill of Rights is explicit: ‘The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people [“Or to the peopledoes not mean the federal government. It means the people of each individual State within that State.].’ There you have it. The power to set education policy is reserved to the states or the people. The federal government is not authorized to meddle [No it is not. It is also not authorized tohelpthe States which is always the argument. One of the many instances of the federal government violating the Constitution.].

2) Its expensive

The Department of Education comprises more than 80 subagencies, employs more than 4,000 people, and has an annual budget of nearly $70 billion. When you include other federal spending like Head Start and the School Lunch Program, that number swells to more than $100 billion [The school lunch programs are within the Department of Agriculture which is another unconstitutional Department. The Head Start program is within the Department of Health and Human Services which is a third unconstitutional Department.].

With a national debt rapidly hurtling toward $20 trillion, this may be a drop in the bucket, but as a wise man once said, a few billion here and there eventually adds up to real money [Attributed to Illinois Senator Everett Dirksen. When he said it, he spoke of millions rather than billions.]. It’s insane to think we couldn’t find better, more productive uses for $100 billion a year. Just off the top of my head, how about giving it back to the taxpayers?

[As of February 9, 2017 the national debt is $19,921,065,289,061.68 according to https://www.treasurydirect.gov/govt/reports/pd/pd_debttothepenny.htm ]

Of course, maybe the federal government could justify this expense if it produced positive results. Unfortunately ...

3) It doesnt work

The Department of Education has been around since 1979, and in that time, with the huge amounts of money that have poured into it, a reasonable person would expect to see massive improvements in educational performance [Money does not necessarily equal positive results.].

In fact, we’ve seen no such thing. The more money we spend, the less students benefit. The department itself recently admitted that education spending isn’t producing any measurable results [Of course, its solution is to spend even more money on even more federal government controlling programs.]—a finding, which conforms with previous analyses of programs like Head Start and the department in general.

It may seem like an obvious question, but why are we continuing a program which has proven, time and time again, not to work [Because it makes peoplefeel compassionateand, once a bureaucracy is created, its primary goal is its own survival. That is important. The primary goal of any federal government bureaucracy is its own survival.]?

4) It hinders school choice and student freedom [It hinders competition, innovation, and differing options based upon what is more important to different States and different regions within the States. The federal solution is one size fits all as long as controlled by the federal government. It is about federal government control.]

Perhaps the most infamous of Department of Education initiatives was Common Core [Now, as far as I am concerned, the transsexual nonsense.], foisted upon the states through a complex system of incentives and penalties with the goal of imposing standardization of testing and, to a certain extent, curricula across the whole country.

These wildly unpopular standards have been the source of outrage and confusion among parents and students alike, who found the math problems impossible, the history textbooks revisionist, and the constant testing oppressive.

But Common Core is far from the only soul-crushing program leveled at local schools from on high. The Department of Education also brought us the spectacular failures of No Child Left Behind, Race to the Top, Head Start, and most recently the Every Student Succeeds Act.

All of these share the goal of making schools everywhere the same, in spite of the fact that different states, different cities, and different children have diverse education requirements that cannot be met by a single top-down structure [Minor detail and minor and acceptable collateral damage in order to achieve the agenda of the Left.].

Like every other market, the market for education thrives only when innovation, competition, and experimentation are allowed to flourish [Just the opposite of a bureaucratic top-down approach.]. The Department of Education has devoted itself to stamping out all of that [The bureaucracy knows best as far as the bureaucracy is concerned.].

5) Its really, really creepy

Like so many other pseudoscientific pursuits, the Department of Education has been moving increasingly toward data collection and analysis in what it claims is an effort to improve student performance [Right? NOT!]. Barack Obama’s Education secretary, Arne Duncan, made the following statement about his ambitions:

‘Hopefully, some day, we can track children from preschool to high school and from high school to college and college to career.’

It may come as a surprise to education bureaucrats, but many parents are not comfortable with their children being ‘tracked’ by the federal government [Minor detail to a federal bureaucrat. They dont care. It is the agenda that is important and they believe that they know best.]. In many cases, parents have no idea what type of data is being collected on their children, and it is not easy to find out even if you are aware of the practice and want to know.

Nor are we just talking about test scores. A surprisingly candid 2013 report from the Department of Education provides a wish list of data collection, including the desire to monitor students’ facial expressions and eye movements during class [Seriously? Bring out multiple video cameras into the classroom.], and then using the data to diagnosis learning disabilities or other problems.

In fact, schools may already be doing this; they are notoriously tight-lipped about data collection. The idea that a computer algorithm might diagnose one’s child with mental illness because he made the wrong expression in class is chilling, and we can be sure that it’s only the beginning of where the department would like to go in the future.

Bearing all these points in mind, it’s baffling that the government continues to fund and defend the Department of Education [It being unconstitutional is sufficient to terminate it], which, by its own admission, has not improved student outcomes yet interferes with the freedoms of Americas children on a daily basis [That it does.]. The time is now. Abolish the Department of Education once and for all.”

I read this article in our area Sunday paper. I decided to post on the Department of Education tonight because of this article. It is a prime example of the bureaucracy in the Department of Education.

http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/swimsuit-costs-cause-stir-chicago-area-school-district

“Swimsuit costs cause stir at Chicago-area school district
By the Associated Press | February 11, 2017

FRANKFORT, Illinois (AP)—The U.S. Department of Education has scrutinized the cost of swimsuits for physical education classes at a suburban Chicago school district, alleging discrimination because female students were charged more for the suits than male students [Seriously. Talk about micromanagement from above. The price of swim suits gets a federal bureau swooping down on a public State school district! The price of a swim suit can not be solved locally? Really? Big Brother has to investigate and solve theconflict?” What a waste!].

A letter sent by the department’s Office for Civil Rights [The price of a swim suit is a civil right?] to Lincoln-Way High School District 210 says the cost disparity amounts to discrimination and alleges the district failed to meet Title IX requirements by not properly disseminating information about nondiscrimination [Seriously? Is this the same bureau that is trying to force transsexuals into the bathrooms and shower facilities of their delusional sex instead of their biological sex?], the Daily Southtown (http://trib.in/2kcMnAr ) reported.

The letter written by supervisory attorney [The force of law upon a local public school district because of the price of swim suits.] Marcela Sanchez-Aguilar says the district is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of sex in any education program or activity because it receives Title IX funds. If the district marks up the costs, it is required to explain why it charges females more for the swimsuits than males, and why there is a difference in price, according to the letter.

Tingley said the district has responded to the complaint and expects an early resolution.

Superintendent Scott Tingley said the district offers swimsuits for sale to families at prices lower than the manufacturers suggested retail price. Boys are charged $25 for swim gear, and girls $40. He says retail prices are $38 and $65 respectively, giving girls a larger discount than boys [Boysapproximately 34%. Girlsapproximately 38.5%. Therefore, the school district is actually discriminating AGAINST the boys. Thus, the discrimination is acceptable to the Department of Education since it is only concerned with discriminationagainst girls, homosexuals, and transsexuals. Homosexuals and transsexuals are not covered by Title IX. However, that is a minor detail to the Department of Education. This is still the Obama Administrations Department of Education.] .

‘It’s never been an issue,’ he said. ‘Boys’ suits are not as expensive [Of course they are not. Boys’/mens suits are quite simple and direct. Girls’/womens suits take more material and are more complicated because of the design of the female body. Does the Department of Education(?) really believe that the male and female body is the same and thus the suits should cost the same? Are they a bunch of bureaucratic idiots?”].’

The district doesn’t control the costs of the suits [Why not? What is wrong with them?] or earn revenue from the sales [Not if they are selling them below costs. Why cant student buy their own suits?], according to Tingley. The district adds on shipping and handling costs as well as any costs incurred with stocking them and keeping an inventory.

He said students are permitted to wear their own suit [What? There is the solution. The District should stop furnishing suits altogether. Then, there is no discrimination. Simple solution. Problem solved. The Department of Education would not be necessary to solve the problem, as an added bonus. The bureaucratic actions of the Department of Education at its finest.], or something else, such as a sports bra and running shorts.”

The Department of Education is an unconstitutional Department. It is past time to terminate the Department of Education and return education to the State level where it belongs.
