I want to thank you for standing with us and signing the petition for the NFL, NBA and NCAA to stop bullying the state of North Carolina. There is an old saying that ‘he who stands for nothing will fall for anything.’ By signing the petition you have shown that you have a backbone and will take a stand. God bless you! Please make sure you have shared the petition with your friends.
Don, let me tell you a little bit about who we are. The mission of Freedom's Journal Institute (FJI) is devoted to the research, education, and the advancement of public policy that promotes: Responsible government [Something that has been lacking for the last seven plus years at the federal level by both major political Parties and leadership in those Parties!], Individual liberty and fidelity, Strong Family Values, and Economic Empowerment (R.I.S.E. Principles), with a biblical worldview. Our aim is to create a ‘paradigm shift’ in the way people, in general, and the African American populace, in particular, view matters of faith, race and public policy. FJI pledges to vigorously challenge ‘liberal’ ideology with conservative principles, such as the R.I.S.E Principles, essential to promoting and sustaining a stable and prosperous family and society.
Among other things, we want to train bishops, pastors, teachers and other Christian leaders to not only articulate conservative biblical values and principles, but to also live them out in everyday life [Isn’t this Christianity? Living as CHRIST did!]. In addition, it is important to us to challenge both Christian leaders and others to know who they support for political office, knowing that following Christ has certain political consequences and ramifications. And knowing that public policy effects our religious liberties and the moral fabric of our country. The law matters, and it’s about time Christians again rise to take a hand in shaping the laws that govern our society [Amen].

Demand Big Sports Stop Bullying North Carolina Faithful
Urgent action is needed now. NCAA, NBA, and NFL are boycotting North Carolina and other states that promote the natural family. Please sign our petition demanding this stop immediately.
The NCAA and professional sports leagues, such as the NFL and NBA, are using their power, money, and influence to push the full weight of the LGBT agenda [Why? Follow the sport’s money!]. Their recent target is the faithful people of North Carolina. Before that Georgia … and before that Arizona.
But, community leaders, politicians, and voters in North Carolina are taking a stand for what is right and not giving into the pressure of big sports [Amen! We need to help them!].
It’s time for the Christian community and all people of good will to stand with them. We at Freedom’s Journal Institute believe it is time for us to stand for what we say we believe and engage in the political process [If Christians will not return the nation to its Christian morality roots who will?] that represents us. Signing our petition is the first step.
Unfortunately, the sports community feels it’s OK to boycott people or states that promote the natural family. So, lets push back.
As recently, the NBA commissioner has moved the NBA All-Star game out of North Carolina because of the state ‘bathroom bill’ protecting the privacy of women, girls, and children. It’s not NBA Commissioner Adam Silver’s job to use the NBA to dictate public policy in North Carolina nor any other state [Absolutely true? Why is he doing it? FOLLOW THE MONEY!].
However, because the NBA has felt no repercussions for its actions, now the president of NCAA, Mark Emmert, is climbing aboard. He is moving tournament play out of North Carolina. Let’s stop it now before it spreads across all sports. We watch sports for entertainment not politics. It should not be used for coercion, manipulation or political retribution [FOLLOW THE MONEY!].

I’m writing to you today in opposition of your decision to punish the state of North Carolina by moving the NBA All-star game and NCAA competitive tournament play because of the state law which limits the use of bathrooms to the sex a person was born with. The bill is known as H.B. 2 or commonly as the ‘Bathroom bill’ and was designed to protect the privacy and safety of women, girls, and children [Why would sports empires be concerned with that? I always ask businesses that support this nonsense one question. They have NEVER responded. Does your business allow men and women to use the same restroom at the same time without ramifications and without exception? The same shower facilities, if you have them?].
According to Dr. Ryan Anderson of the Heritage foundation, ‘The first provision of the bill—the bathroom provision—is simply common sense. It leaves actors in the private sector free to do what they think best with their bathrooms, and it says government-run facilities will operate according to biological sex as noted on a birth certificate.’
‘The second provision—the employment provision—is simply a preference for statewide uniformity. It says North Carolina will have one set of employment regulations for the entire state rather than a multiplicity of additional laws set at the municipal level.’
We know from a recently published study in Sexuality and Gender Findings from the Biological, Psychological, and Social Sciences, that:
¨ The understanding of sexual orientation as an innate, biologically fixed property of human beings the idea that people are ‘born that way’ is not supported by scientific evidence [Duh! Homosexual behavior is just that—a behavior!]. (page 8)
¨ The hypothesis that gender identity is an innate, fixed property of human beings that is independent of biological sex that a person might be ‘a man trapped in a woman’s body’ or ‘a woman trapped in a man’s body’ is not supported by scientific evidence [It is utter nonsense! Can one be a dog trapped in a man’s body or a cat trapped in a woman’s body? What utter nonsense! We now have the Capitulation Party and the Capitulation Sports Empire! By the way, the Disney Empire—ABC Sports, ESPN, ESPN2—and all the other pure Left mass media may have a lot to do with this! The Capitulation Sports Empire wants the money that the mass media generates for them! The old maxim “Follow the money!” holds true!]. (page 9)
¨ According to a recent estimate, about 0.6% of U.S. adults identify as a gender that does not correspond to their biological sex. (page 9)
Given this information North Carolina or any state has the right to set its bathroom policy according to the scientific evidence at hand [Sovereign States have the authority to set any laws they want based upon their Constitutions! They don’t need scientific evidence or anything else. If you don’t like the laws passed, vote them out of office! The Constitution guarantees a republic form of government for as reason.]. There is no scientific evidence that should cause us to change policies on gender and restroom use that have been working for centuries.
Therefore, the NBA, NCAA and any sports organization should stop trying to boycott states that stand for the natural family or they will find themselves a target of a boycott.

I have stopped watching and caring about sports in general at the college level and above because these organizations support such inherent nonsense even though I was, at one time, a high school coach. I use to never miss a University of Arizona basketball game on TV and was a season ticket holder for the Arizona softball team.
I have not missed it at all!
