AUSTIN, Texas, February 6, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – Freshman State Representative Tony Tinderholt and wife Bethany are under security protection after death threats made in response to his new bill to abolish abortion [murder of babies within the womb] entirely in Texas.
Yet Tinderholt insists in a statement on his Facebook that the threats on his family ‘pale in comparison’ to the threat of abortion [murder of babies within the womb] faced by ‘every unborn child in America [True. Close to nine hundred murders per day on average. The American Holocaust!].’
Tinderholt’s chief of staff, Micah Cavanaugh, said in a statement that they cannot discuss specifics because of an ongoing police investigation. But he acknowledged that Tinderholt’s family has received ‘multiple death threats leading to his family being placed under DPS [Department of Public Safety] protection on multiple occasions.’
Tinderholt’s House Bill 948, the ‘Abolition of Abortion [murder of babies within the womb] in Texas Act,’ makes abortion [murder of babies within the womb] a crime as it was before the U.S. Supreme Court’s infamous Roe v. Wade decision in 1973. Under his bill, the mother and abortionist [murderer of babies within the womb] could be charged with murder even when the unborn child was conceived artificially or by rape or incest [No State executes a person for rape or incest. Why in the world would a State execute the result of that rape or incest? The baby is innocent. The baby did nothing wrong to deserve to be killed let alone murdered. Thou shalt not murder has NO exceptions. The States should have NO exceptions. Of course, the same is true for the federal government too. NO exceptions.].
Asked whether the bill isn’t flying in the face of the Roe v. Wade decision, Tinderholt political consultant Luke Macias told LifeSiteNews, ‘Representative Tinderholt believes that legislating should be left to legislators and the governor. And then the interpretation of that law [By the way, the Constitution does NOT give the federal courts the authority to interpret law. That is a power the courts stole in Marbury vs. Madison. That is not my interpretation alone. My Constitutional Law professors said the same thing.] can be brought to bear by the judges. We don’t think we should seek their approval prior to passing it [Absolutely. There is no such provision in the Constitution.].’
The bill states, ‘A living human child, from the moment of fertilization upon the fusion of a human spermatozoon with a human ovum, is entitled to the same rights, powers, and privileges as are secured or granted by the laws of this state to any other human child [As any child conceived does and should have. It is a right given to ALL persons by GOD AND the United States Constitution.].’
The bill also declares that ‘any federal statute, regulation, executive order, or court decision which purports to supersede, stay, or overrule this Act is in violation of the Texas Constitution [And in violation of the United States Constitution as stated in Amendments V and XIV. The belief that States can allow the murder of babies in the womb is absolutely FALSE. Amendment XIV forbids the States from taking the life of a person without due process of law and the equal protection of the law. If babies outside of the womb can not be murdered by their mother, then babies within the womb can not be murdered by their mothers.]’ It orders every county and municipal government to ensure its police and prosecutors are enforcing it ‘regardless of any contrary or conflicting federal statutes, regulations, executive orders, or court decisions [Good! It is as it should be. NO government has the right to sanction the murder of another person.].’
Tinderholt, a first-term representative from Arlington, is being protected by the Texas Department of Public Security [When I Binged this, I only got the Texas Department of Public Safety which is what most States, that I know of, call their agency. Texas is often unique. However, my guess is that it is “Public Safety” rather than “Security.”], which oversees the Texas Rangers, with the assistance of the Arlington Police Department and Tarrant County sheriff’s office.
Tinderholt has told The Texas Observer, ‘I don’t think that there should be any exceptions to murder [Of course there should not be. He is absolutely correct.], no matter what. So, if this child was out of the womb and it was a child that was born out of rape or incest, no one would be OK with killing a child [Of course. At least, no moral person.]. I look at it like that child is a child in the womb [And he or she is.], just like it’s out.’
He has also explained that abortion [murder of babies within the womb] is being used as a form of birth control and a backup to birth control [Also true.].
‘Right now, they don’t make it important to be personally responsible because they know that they have a backup of ‘Oh, I can just go get an abortion [murder of babies within the womb],’’ he said. ‘Now, we both know that consenting adults don’t always think smartly sometimes. But consenting adults need to also consider the repercussions of the sexual relationship that they’re going to have, which is a child [Actually hold individuals personally responsible for their actions? Let’s be perfectly clear. NO federal court decision is law let alone the law of the land. ALL legislative power—law making power—belongs to Congress and Congress alone. We have been lied to for far too long. Congress makes law—not the courts. Elected Representatives make law. Not appointed, unelected lawyers. (Court judges constitutionally do not have to be lawyers and early in our history some were not.) Roe vs. Wade is NOT the law of the land. It NEVER has been.
