Abolishing the murder of babies within the womb by Congressional law will actually be faster and more effective than waiting on the court. Right now there are five justices on the court who support the murder of babies within the womb. The four radical Leftist justices appointed by Democrat Presidents and Justice Kennedy. Therefore, to even have a chance of the court reversing, we need one more Constitutional Justice and the one appointed has to replace one of the five pro-murdering babies within the womb justices. Even then, it would take a couple of years, at least, to get the case through the court system.
Passing a law of Congress is the best way of ending the terror of our American holocaust. The best way to abolish the murder of babies within the womb. The best way to stop any State from passing a law allowing the murder of babies within the womb. And it is also best constitutionally.
Life for all persons within the United States including babies within the womb is guaranteed and protected by the Declaration of Independence, Amendment V of the United States Constitution, and Amendment XIV of the United States Constitution. No court, no government body, no individual can constitutionally sanction the murder of babies within the womb. All such decisions, laws, and regulations are patently unconstitutional and illegal and should be immediately abolished by Congress by law!
Statistically, everyday of delay over 2,700 babies are murdered in the womb through abortion using 1 million abortions a year as a baseline. It is past time to attack the evil of murdering babies within the womb on every front with every legal weapon we can use until the murder of babies within the womb is abolished completely throughout the United States and its territories. If you had told me 10 years ago that there’d be a vote in the U.S. Congress over whether to fund sex-change operations in the military and to task our military to fight against the weather [How does the military fight against the weather?], I’d have said such an initiative would garner the support of a handful of the most extreme Democrats from New York and San Francisco. Yet after yesterday’s votes in the House, we’ve now reached a point when not to support these absurdities is the minority view in Washington [All Leftists supported the nonsense and enough establishment Republicans In Name Only Republicans joined in to give a majority. Then, they call it bipartisan legislation. NO legislation should ever pass in the Republican controlled House of Representatives where more Democrats vote for it than Republicans. If that happens, the House just passed Leftist legislation.].
It also demonstrates just how far to the Left the entire [elected] body politic has moved and explains why conservatives, through their soft bigotry of low expectations, have tolerated so many acts of political adultery from the GOP—as long as they are half a step to the right of the Democrats [Voters need to do a better job of holding establishment Republicans accountable. They must make them prove they are conservative with consist conservative votes. For years, the Left has been running Leftists as conservative Republicans. My own brother-in-law, now deceased so I can tell the tale, was a Leftist since I first met him in the 1970s. Yet, our conservative county elected him repeatedly to the County Board of Supervisors as a Republican and for a time he was both a County Board member and the Chairman of the Republican Party in Tazewell County. Why did he run as a Republican? Because he knew he could not get elected as a Democrat. And to the Left, getting elected is the first priority. As a Republican in Republican Districts. As a Democrat in Democratic Districts. Leftists are neither Democrats or Republicans. The Party label is meaningless to them. The implementation of the agenda is the goal. It matters not if done as a Republican or a Democrat. They have no ethics, no principles, and no morals.].
Yesterday afternoon, the House convened a marathon session to vote on a series of amendments to the FY [Fiscal Year] 2018 defense bill (NDAA [National Defense Authorization Act]), which authorizes $688 billion for the Pentagon and related defense spending. As I warned in June, the NDAA provides us with a unique opportunity to end the egregious social engineering in our military, some of which is being dealt with by the Trump administration and some of which, unfortunately, is not. In other words, the policies are more important than the debate over spending figures [However, the Left is willing to trade more spending for defense for more Leftist policy implementation. The Left has no problem spending money. They have a problem in not spending money unless it is in policy areas where they disagree. Then, they will allow more spending in one area for more Leftist policies in other areas.]. There are two amendments that are worth highlighting.
Representative Scott Perry, R-Pennsylvania, proposed an amendment to strip out recently inserted language tasking the military with fighting … the weather [A President Obama initiative.]! At a time when we are confronted with Islamic jihadists, Iran, North Korea, and China, the House Armed Services Committee added a provision to the NDAA making it the mission of the military to ‘address combatant commander requirements resulting from climate change [Meaning alleged man-made global warming. Establishment Republicans easily adopt the word manipulation of the Left.] over the next 20 years.’ Sadly, this effort is broadly supported by Secretary of Defense James Mattis and the other liberals [Leftists] still running the Pentagon. Yet Perry’s effort to strip out the provision and actually focus the military on … you know … fighting the enemy [What a quaint idea.], failed by a vote of 185-234. Every Democrat and 46 Republicans voted against the Perry amendment and for a global warming brigade.

After focusing our military on fighting the weather, what else can we do to destroy their morale and turn the pride of the nation into a laughingstock in the eyes of the enemy?
Well, we can create a transgender [transsexual] brigade and pay for sex-change operations and hormone therapy in the military [I have posted about this. See links below.] Representative Vicki Hartzler, R-Missouri., proposed an amendment to bar the funding of sex-change operations in the military. Yet once again, 24 Republicans joined every Democrat to uphold taxpayer-funded castration [mutilation surgery] in the military.

It’s not just the absurdity of debasing our military and the logistical nightmare of promoting transgenderism [transsexualism] in the military. By covering sex-change operations with taxpayer funding, this means someone can sign up for the military and secure an immediate paycheck but delay deployment for as long as two years of his tenure. Such a person gets at least two years after the surgery for hormone therapy and must be certified ‘stable’ in his or her new gender [sex. Of course, there is no new sex. That is biologically impossible. Just mutilation of the body to remove signs of the original sex of the delusional person.] before deployment, all the while taking up the slot of someone without a terrible mental disorder who could be deployed to defend this country [Minor detail to the Left. Advance the agenda. Always advance the agenda.].
Some might observe that most Republicans indeed voted against this insanity and that this was the work of just 24 Republicans. But notice the closeness of the vote – 209-214. When Republican leaders want a certain outcome, such as passing a phony health care bill or a Democrat budget, they make sure they get the votes. They do everything short of waterboarding conservative members to fall in line. No such whipping took place with these votes [These are not conservatives. They are part of the establishment. It means the Republican leadership had NO problem seeing the amendment fail.]. In fact, all but a handful of Republicans were probably relieved the amendment was voted down and just voted no because they knew it wouldn’t pass [Some truth in this. Conservatives are outnumbered in both the House and the Senate even though the country is much more conservative than the numbers represented in Congress. That is because almost all Republicans run as conservatives. Which means a lot of Republicans lie to their constituents just as my brother-in-law did for years. More conservatives need to be elected regardless of party.]. Leadership couldn’t care less about any of our priorities.
As we watch Republicans move so far to the Left on health care in a matter of just a few months, these votes provide a background into just how successful Democrats are in pushing the Republican Party to the Left [Because many of them go willingly being closet Leftists themselves.]. Just a few years ago, Paul Ryan was talking about making even Medicare and existing government-run programs more free market. Now, almost every Republican believes in destroying the market in even the little remaining private sector. Then again, a party that can’t stand up for the most self-evident truths of natural law and natural science in the military during a time of international peril most certainly cannot understand or articulate free market health care [Unfortunately, probably true. Again, closet Leftists who lied to the voters back home to get elected. Unfortunately, most voters could not tell anyone how their representative voted on the most fundamental of issues.].

A devilish side of me is relieved by the fact that large numbers of Republican voters are now discovering the obvious—the GOP [Republican Party] is to political parties what CNN is to news coverage [Ouch! The Republican Party is fake.]. After all, the first step to solving a problem is recognizing the severity of the problem. In this case, the incontrovertible problem is that there is not a dime’s worth of difference between the two major parties [This has been said for years including back in the 1960s when I first became really interested in politics. The need is to STOP voting PARTY and START voting ISSUES. That means the electorate has to become much more involved and know the position of the candidates on the issues.].
Yesterday, not only did seven Republicans vote against repealing even part of Obamacare [in the Senate], there was another vote in which 10 Republicans expressed their solidarity with Medicaid and Obamacare [Government run programs rather than free market policies.]. Rather than providing a vision for patient-centered, market-driven health care, the following 10 Republicans voted to ‘express the sense of the Senate that Medicaid expansion is a priority and that Obamacare must be improved [Failure can not be improved. Both programs should be buried.]’:

The Medicaid program is an appalling blot on America’s consciousness [It is a terribly run program as is the Veteran Affairs medical program. Government run healthcare/health insurance programs are dismal failures and still Leftists want to throw more money at them.]. As late as 1990, nearly 25 years into the program, there were just 22.9 million enrolled at a cost of $41 billion. As late as the end of the Clinton presidency, there were 34.5 million enrolled at a cost of $117 billion. Now, between Medicaid and CHIP [Children’s Health Insurance Program] there are 74.5 million people enrolled at a cost of $410 billion, plus an additional $150 billion spent by the states. Enrollment and costs are set to spiral out of control, lining the pockets of the hospitals and insurance cartel [And providing very poor care. Plus, the federal government has NO constitutional authority to be involved in such programs.].
We spend almost as much on this program as we spend on the military [Which is the major responsibility of the federal government—protecting its people from enemies, real and potential.]. And this program keeps people in poverty, offers horrendous care, distorts prices, and contributes to sickening administrative costs, burdens on doctors, and inflating the cost of health care for the rest of us.
Yet these Republicans have no problems with it. And frankly, as I noted last week, aside from a handful of honest conservatives, most ‘mainstream’ Republicans are for the status quo but won’t publicly say so. This is what allows the left flank of the party to operate so freely and is the reason why Democrats don’t have a similar problem on their ‘right’ flank.
As you can see from the list of names, this is not just a blue-state problem. Capito, Cassidy, Enzi, McCain, Murkowski, Portman, and Sullivan are all from states Trump carried in the 2016 election.
Republicans lie to us during the elections. Even the most liberal [Leftist] Republicans not only campaigned against Obamacare but actually sounded a lot like yours truly in demanding that we address the root cause of health care inflation and market distortions. One of my Twitter followers, ‘Restive Rabble,’ compiled an endless list of Republicans sounding like free-market conservatives on health care. In an op-ed from 2015, Lisa Murkowski wrote, ‘The country needs to address the cost of care, not just force people to buy insurance.’
But nothing has changed in policy, politics, or process since these critters made their promises to the American people. If anything, the price inflation and government-sponsored monopoly has gotten worse than previously thought, making the case for free-market health care even stronger.
So, what do Republicans stand for? Maybe they are good on other issues?
Of course not. They can’t even agree not to turn the military into a transgender hospital with castration [mutilation] surgery (covered by Medicaid?!) and hormone therapy … during a time of war! Even Republicans from red states, such as Shelby in Alabama, Hatch in Utah, McCain in Arizona, and Ernst in Iowa, threw a tantrum over Trump protecting our military from Obama’s disgraceful and morally degrading social engineering. So much for the big, strong, tough Joni Ernst and her ‘castrate the pigs" ad. I guess she meant to say ‘castrate the soldiers’ … and pay for the side effects through Medicaid for the rest of their lives.
Folks, I don’t know what it’s going to take for our people to wake up and recognize that this party is irremediably broken [We need to vote issues rather than Party. Vote issues in the primaries. Vote issues in the general election. I’ve been saying since the 2010 election that conservatives should run conservative candidates in every Republican Primary AND run conservative candidates in every Democrat primary. The Left has taken over the Democrat Party but there are still plenty of conservative Democrats who HAVE BEEN ABANDONED by the Left including Christians who have been life-long Democrats, all white heterosexual males, conservative women and Blacks, conservative small business owners, and conservative legal immigrants.]. We are just as likely to succeed in promoting free markets and traditional values in the Democrat Party as we are in the Republican Party [And we should. Who won the election for Donald Trump? Pro-lifers and conservative Democrats who fled from Hillary Rodham Clinton and her pro-murder, pro-homosexuality, pro-illegal alien, anti-small business polices. The election was not a pro-Donald Trump election. The election was an anti-Leftist election. The Left has lost the Presidency, the Senate, the House of Representatives, and over a thousand State and local government offices since the passage of Obamacare. It was not because the Republicans were so much more conservative. It was because they were not as radical as the Left. Why would they now want to adopt Leftist policies?].
If this week serves as the wake-up moment to promote a Convention of the State [I have written why a Convention of States is a terrible idea. See below.] and either start a new party [Easier to co-opt one or both of the two major parties. That is what the Left did. They tried their own Party and found it would not work.] or dramatically overhaul the primary process, perhaps this betrayal would have been worth it all along. We cannot fix a problem we refuse to recognize [True and the Establishment Republican Party is a major problem.].

“Proof that today’s Republicans really are yesterday’s Democrats

It’s been said by many a conservative, usually in a moment of frustration, that today’s Republicans are really just yesterday’s Democrats. That all Republicans are really good for is bringing in leftism at a slower and more manageable rate of growth. That when driving down history’s highway, Democrats see ‘Next Exit: Ash Heap’ and put the pedal to the metal, while Republicans merely make sure their hands are ten-and-two on the steering wheel and speed limits are observed, so they can arrive at the exact same destination in a safer, more dignified manner [Ouch!].
It turns out that’s not just frustration talking. It’s actually true.
Because I’m a sadist or just haven’t lost enough friends yet, I decided to go back and take a look at where Democrats stood on the issues 20 years ago, in 1997, and compare it to where Republicans are now in 2017. The results aren’t exactly inspiring.

Planned Parenthood [Murderhood] funding
The final budget signed into law by President Clinton 20 years ago actually reduced Planned Parenthood [Murderhood] subsidies by 10 percent from the previous year, despite the fact that in 1997, the organization killed [murdered] more children than at any point in its prior history. In total, the government provided Planned Parenthood [Murderhood] with $247 million in funding that year (adjusted for inflation)—or about 30 percent of its total budget.
According to its latest annual report, in the fiscal year ending in 2016, Planned Parenthood [Murderhood] received more than $554 million in government funding—which is more than 40 percent of its total budget [And even more in indirect funding when considering that Planned Murderhood is a nonprofit organization and therefore donations to it are deducted on Schedule A of the Federal tax form causing a loss of tax revenue for the federal government and more money in the coffers of Planned Murderhood.]..
There were GOP-controlled Congresses [The Republican Party became the Capitulation Party during the Obama Administration. Eight years of capitulating and so far in this first year of the Trump Administration too.] with Democrat presidents both years.
Marriage
In 1997, Bill Clinton was working both sides of the fence as only Bill Clinton can do. He was warmly received as the first U.S. president to speak at one of the country’s largest Rainbow Jihad groups, the Human Rights Campaign. But just a year earlier, he signed the Defense of Marriage Act into law with a statement that he had ‘long opposed governmental recognition of same-sex marriages.’
In a just-released Pew Research Center poll, a plurality of Republicans and Republican-leaning voters oppose defending marriage for the first time [Whether or not true is another question. Polls have become as fake as the news if not more so. I have said for years, “Tell me what you want a poll to find, and I will give you that poll.” There was just such a poll today. A poll supposedly said that a majority of people supported transsexuals in the military. I do not believe it for a second.]. Donald Trump is the first person to get elected to the presidency as an open opponent of marriage. And it was one of the founders of the Federalist Society and former solicitor general under President George W. Bush who was one of the lead attorneys pressing the federal courts to reject marriage.
Taxation
In 1997, President Clinton signed into law the Taxpayer Relief Act that included child tax credits [The child tax credit was and is a terrible idea tax-wise.], a decrease in several capital gains rates, tax breaks on retirement and educational savings accounts, and estate tax reductions. Republicans have yet to advance any of their promised tax relief legislation so far this year [And the way they are going there will be none and/or it will be bad legislation.]. At the same time, they’re struggling to repeal one of the biggest taxes (according to Chief Justice John Roberts’ judicial voodoo [Unconstitutional ruling.]) ever imposed—Obamacare.
Debt
In 1997, President Clinton approved the first of four consecutive balanced budgets with surpluses [This was on paper contrived. The total national debt increased in all four of those years although not significantly compared to Bush/Obama years. Remember also, the national debt is the responsibility of Congress, not the President. Congress passes the budget. Not the President.], and debt held by the public was paid down by $453 billion over that time. In 2017, one of Steve Mnuchin’s first acts as Secretary of the Treasury was to ask Congress to unconditionally increase the debt limit [Congress did not have to do it. Congress is responsible for the national debt. Is a Republican controlled Congress as irresponsible as a Leftist controlled Congress? It is irresponsible but not as irresponsible as a Leftist controlled Congress. The people need to start electing conservatives who will actually decrease spending and decrease the national debt. The people need to hold Congress accountable.].

Immigration
In 1997, less than a year had passed since Bill Clinton signed the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act. It stated that illegal aliens unlawfully present in the United States for 180 days but less than 365 days must remain outside the United States for three years unless they obtain a pardon. Furthermore, if they were in the United States for 365 days or more, they must stay outside the United States for 10 years unless they obtain a waiver, and if they return to the United States without a pardon, they may not apply for a waiver for 10 years.
In 2017, the Trump administration announced it would continue the Obama administration's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program [A terrible and unconstitutional program. A terrible mistake on the part of the Trump Administration.], or DACA, which allows illegal aliens who came to the country as young children to remain in the United States. Trump had promised on the campaign trail to repeal this policy. While Trump’s beefed-up enforcement has led to a substantial drop in illegal border crossings, so far no meaningful action has happened to fulfill his popular campaign promise to build a border wall [Supposedly, planning has started in Texas for such a wall. It may end up that Texas builds and pays for it. Who knows? I like Ted Cruz’s idea of having drug traffickers pay for it. I would add along with illegal aliens.].
Conclusion
If you want to know what the Republican Party will stand for 20 years from now, simply look at what Democrats are advocating now.

It is past time for conservatives to get actively involved in retaking control or taking control for the first time of the Republican Party. Texas is moving in that direction. The largest remaining obstacle is a RINO Speaker of the House who was elected by a combination of Democrats and some Republicans. Originally, many more Democrats than Republicans. Since the Left has all but destroyed the Democrat Party in many States including downstate Illinois, conservatives need to take over the Democrat Party as well. Run conservatives in both Republican and Democrat primaries. If the Democrat candidate is more conservative than the Republican candidate, vote the Democrat in. Vote issues rather than Party and make EVERY election a competitive election. In competition with the Left, conservatives will win.
