Abolishing the murder of babies within the womb by Congressional law will actually be faster and more effective than waiting on the court. Right now there are five justices on the court who support the murder of babies within the womb. The four radical Leftist justices appointed by Democrat Presidents and Justice Kennedy. Therefore, to even have a chance of the court reversing, we need two more Constitutional Justices and the second one has to replace one of the five pro-murdering babies within the womb justices. Even then, it would take a couple of years, at least, to get the case through the court system.
Passing a law of Congress is the best way of ending the terror of our American holocaust. The best way to abolish the murder of babies within the womb. The best way to stop any State from passing a law allowing the murder of babies within the womb. And it is also best constitutionally.
Life for all persons within the United States including babies within the womb is guaranteed and protected by the Declaration of Independence, Amendment V of the United States Constitution, and Amendment XIV of the United States Constitution. No court, no government body, no individual can constitutionally sanction the murder of babies within the womb. All such decisions, laws, and regulations are patently unconstitutional and illegal and should be immediately abolished by Congress by law!
Statistically, everyday of delay over 2,700 babies are murdered in the womb through abortion using 1 million abortions a year as a baseline. It is past time to attack the evil of murdering babies within the womb on every front with every legal weapon we can use until the murder of babies within the womb is abolished completely throughout the United States and its territories. Murder of babies within the womb is a horrendous evil that needs to and must be terminated.

1) The Problem
1) The Spending and Debt Crisis [This is a symptom of the problem not the problem]
1) Out of control, tyrannical federal courts that are not held accountable for their decisions.
The examples are legion and are increasing as judges become even bolder as neither the Congress nor the President holds them accountable for unconstitutional decisions. The most egregious in our history was and is the Roe vs. Wade decision which illegally and unconstitutionally sanctioned the murder of babies within the womb. The United States will never be great until this criminally abhorrent decision is abolished permanently.
2) The Regulatory Crisis
2) Congress expanding its authority unconstitutionally in some areas while unconstitutionally delegating their authority to unelected bureaucrats in other areas.
Congress seeks increasing power with decreasing responsibility. The Congress silently approves the encroachments of the courts legislating from the bench what would probably never be passed through Congress into law. Congress creates Departments and bureaus unconstitutionally and then allows them to establish rules and regulations enforced as if laws without any or very little congressional oversight or control.
3) Congressional Attacks on State Sovereignty [This is part of my number two.]
For years, Congress has been using federal grants to keep the states under its control.
The problem is that States for years have willingly accepted these federal grants. The States have willingly sold their sovereignty to the federal government in return for federal bribes money. The solution is not a Constitutional Convention. The solution is for the States to turn down the money and reassert their sovereignty.
3) The Presidents from both major political parties expanding the President’s authority unconstitutionally. President Barack Hussein Obama went so far as to literally turn every Department and bureau into a political arm of the radical Left from the Department of Injustice, to the Internal Revenue Service, to the Environmental Protection Agency, to National Security Agencies. In my opinion, President Barrack Hussein Obama was the most politically corrupt President in the history of the United States.
4) Federal Takeover of the Decision-Making Process
This is covered in my points one through three. The greatest culprit was and is the federal courts. However, Congress and Presidents have also been involved to a lesser extent with the federal courts sanctioning their actions when challenged and Congress and the Presidents allowing the federal courts to usurp their authority.
2) The Solution
The correct path can be found within Article V of the United States Constitution
‘The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article [The first clause deals with slavery and the fourth clause addresses taxes.]; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.’ ~ Article V, United States Constitution
Is it? I don’t think so. I believe there is a simpler, better solution that will actually work.

01) Term Limits: He proposes limiting service in both the House and Senate to 12 years. Yes, we’ve heard all the arguments about elections being the best limit [And they are the only effective one.]. But the past 100 year has proven that to be false [According to whom? If so, why? The fault of the election process or the fault of the participants in the election? Prove that it will be any different under term limits. Barack Hussein Obama was term limited. How did that work out?]. As someone who works day and night to throw the bums out, I can tell you that is nearly impossible to throw them out with the amount of money they raise [So, if money wins elections, how will term limits stop the Left from supporting the same type of candidate who was term limited? Barack Hussein Obama was followed by Hillary Clinton who was considered to be more of the same. Term limits didn’t change the outcome. The election changed the outcome.]— precisely for their abuses of power. Levin also proves that limiting time in office was a highly regarded proposal during the Constitutional Congress [However, it was not accepted, or was it?].
01) I fundamentally oppose term limits. Term limits do not increase the liberty of voters. It decreases our liberty.
Term limits prevents citizens from voting for the candidate we think is best suited for the job. Ted Cruz is a perfect example. He kept his word when he won the Senate race in Texas. He did what he said he would do. If he continues to do the same and if I lived in Texas, I would keep voting him into office. To say that great Congressmen should automatically be restricted to 12 years along with terrible Congressmen is folly. How many times does a Ted Cruz come along?
Term limits has been part of the Republican mantra since the 1990’s and the Republicans’ “Contract with America.” Some Republicans who were elected under the contract keep their word and did not run again after holding office for the number of years they said they would. Others kept running for reelection and winning exceeding the number of years agreed upon.
The only example of term limits we have at the federal level is for the President. Has term limits succeeded in promoting better candidates for President and/or limiting the abuses of Presidents?
Presidential term limits was passed after Democrat Franklin Delano Roosevelt was elected four times to the Presidency. He died soon after the beginning of his fourth term. He was succeeded by Harry Truman. Truman was reelected in 1948 and was exempt from any term limit provision since he was in office at the time of its passage. Truman chose not to run for reelection in 1952. Republican Dwight David Eisenhower was elected for two terms and could not run in 1960. However, I don’t think he had any desire to run for a third term with or without the Amendment.
Democrat Lyndon Johnson became President after the assignation of John Kennedy. He won election in his own right in 1964. He could have run again in 1968. He decided not to run and Republican Richard Nixon was elected in 1968 and again in a landslide election in 1972. In 1972, he received 520 electoral college votes to George McGovern’s 17. He resigned soon after in disgrace and Gerald Ford became President. Gerald Ford lost to Democrat Jimmy Carter in the 1976 election. Jimmy Carter lost to Republican Ronald Reagan. The first elected President to lose a second term election since the enactment of the term limiting Amendment.
Ronald Reagan easily won a second term and his Vice President George H. W. Bush won the election of 1988. This is the first time that the President of a specific party won three elections in a row since the enactment of term limits. Many considered the election of George H. W. Bush as an extension of the eight years of Ronald Reagan. However, George H. W. Bush lost his reelection bid to Democrat Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton won a second term, survived an impeachment trial in the Senate, and was term limited for the 2000 election. Republican George W. Bush won the 2000 election and reelection in 2004. He was term limited for the 2008 election. Democrat Barack Hussein Obama won elections in 2008 and 2012. Since he was term limited, Hillary Clinton ran as his third term successor, according to many. However, Hillary Clinton lost to Democrat turned Republican Donald Trump.
Can anyone honestly claim that term limiting the President gave the country better Presidential candidates? If so, please prove it. Can anyone honestly claim that term limiting the President resulted in less Presidential corruption? If so, please prove it.
I believe it is apparent that Barack Hussein Obama violated the Constitution more in his second term than in his first term because he KNEW that he did not have to and could not face the voters for a third term. Therefore, any restraints on his actions were removed. He was not concerned with being reelected because he could not run for reelection. And he knew that neither Congress or the federal courts would hold him accountable.
Therefore, in regards to the Presidency, term limits actually led to more lawlessness, not less. Furthermore, can anyone seriously claim that it gave us better candidates?
02) Repealing the 17th Amendment: Levin proposes repealing the 17th amendment and vesting state legislators with the power to elect senators so that the power of states is not diluted, as originally feared by the framers of the Constitution [Which is a return to the original situation. Of course, 3/4th of the States approved the 17th Amendment, in the first place. It is not as if the States did not have a say in the change. The States approved the change.].
02) I know of no evidence that returning the selection of Senators to the States and removing the power of we the people to vote for the Senator of our choice will improve the quality of Senators within the Senate.
I do know of at least two instances where we the people elected a quality Senator who would have not been selected by the State Legislature.

Many Texans consider the Lieutenant Governor to be the most powerful Statewide elected official in Texas because he is the active presiding officer of the Texas State Senate with enormous power over the State Senate. In 2012, every Texas State Senator that endorsed a Republican candidate for the Senate endorsed David Dewhurst. If the Texas State Legislature had the power to appoint the Texas Senator, is there any doubt that David Dewhurst would have received the Senate appointment?

03) Restoring the Judiciary to its proper role: The Judiciary was never meant to be an all-powerful institution in which five men in robes have the final say over every major policy battle in the country [This is absolutely true. The federal courts have usurped their authority far beyond the other two branches of government.].
03) There is no need for a Constitutional Amendment to rein in the power of the federal courts. Both Congress, primarily, and the President now have constitutional authority that can be used to hold the federal courts accountable. That authority has not been used by either. It is much easier for Congress to restrain the courts than to pass a Constitutional Amendment that may or may not achieve the same result.
04) Limiting Taxation and Spending: Levin proposes a balanced budget amendment, limiting spending to 17.5% of GDP [Even in times of war?] and requiring a three-fifths vote to raise the debt ceiling. He also proposes limiting the power to tax to 15% of an individual’s income, prohibiting other forms of taxation, and placing the deadline to file one’s taxes one day before the next federal election.
04) The same can be done by Congressional law.
Again, easier to pass than a Constitutional Amendment. Furthermore, if the present Constitution is not being followed why would Congress follow new provisions? Illinois requires a balanced budget. I first moved back to Illinois in 2004. Since, at least, 2004, Illinois has not balanced its budget and has gone deeper and deeper into debt. In fact, over the last two years, Illinois has not even passed a budget let alone a balanced budget. New Amendments are meaningless unless followed and enforced.
05) Limiting bureaucracy: He proposes an amendment to limit and sunset federal regulations and subject the existence of all federal departments to stand-alone reauthorization bills every three years.

In fact, I would propose eliminating completely the eight Departments of the federal government that are not provided for in the Constitution. I would start with the three most recent unconstitutional Departments including the Department of Education which is the most recent Department created without constitutional authority.
06) Defining the Commerce Clause: Levin writes an amendment that, while technically unnecessary, is practically an imperative to restoring the original intent of the Commerce Clause. The amendment would make it clear that the commerce clause grants not power to actively regulate and control activity; rather to prevent states from impeding commerce among other states, as Madison originally intended.

The federal courts have unconstitutionally expanded the power of governments to seize private property. Amendment V is very clear, if followed.

08) Allowing State Legislature to Amend the Constitution: Although the Framers intentionally made it difficult to amend the Constitution, they did so to preserve the Republic they created. However, the progressives [Leftists] have illegally altered our Republic through a silent and gradual coup without using the amendment process [This is most definitely true and was and is most definitely unconstitutional.]. If we are going to successfully push the aforementioned amendments, we will need an easier mechanism to force them through. The proposed amendment allows states to bypass Congress and propose an amendment with support of just two-thirds of the states (instead of three-fourths) and without convening a convention.

09) State Authority to Override Congress: A proposed amendment to allow states to override federal statutes by majority vote in two-thirds of state legislatures. The last two proposals are rooted in the idea that the states only agreed to the Constitution on condition that their power would not be diluted and that all federal power is derived from the states [Have not the States allowed this power grab by the federal government and the Left?].
09) I absolutely oppose this and anything that would make it easier for the States to reject federal laws over which the federal government has constitutional authority. If the federal government does not have constitutional authority, any laws passed in those areas are not valid anyway. Can you imagine the damage wreaked if 2/3rds of State Legislatures were controlled by the Left. Congress declares war and 2/3rds of the States say it is null and void.
10) Protecting the Vote: A proposal to require photo ID for all federal elections and limit early voting.
10) I absolutely agree with this. However, the same can be done by Congressional law.
I would go further:
1) A photo ID for all federal elections
2) extreme limits on early voting
3) Congress by law as allowed by the Constitution takes control of all federal elections from the primary election to the general election.
