Retired Air Force Brigadier General Don Bacon running in Nebraska for Congress needs your help.
A devout Christian who served our country in the military for over 29 years, Bacon now wants to serve in Congress representing the 2nd District of Nebraska.
His opponent, incumbent Congressman Brad Ashford [Democrat], is horrible on issues about which you and I care. And he certainly doesn’t represent Nebraska values.
He voted wrongly on the No Tax Payer Funding for Abortion Act. Using a common sense approach to a very emotional issue, Congressman Ashford chose to listen to extremists at Planned Parenthood and NARAL instead of the folks in his district.
He voted against the ObamaCare Repeal Act.
He voted against the Pain Capable Act. This was vital legislation that would protect unborn children by preventing abortions later than five months after fertilization—which scientific evidence suggests is when children start to feel pain [If not before! Every abortion is murder! Every abortion is a violation of Amendment V and Amendment XIV of the United States Constitution! Every abortion is a violation of GOD’S Holy Law!].
Congressman Ashford couldn’t even bring himself to vote against a continuing resolution to fund Planned Parenthood—particularly after those horrible videos came out in the media showing that abortion providers were selling body parts.
Representative Ashford is no friend to the tax payer and will gladly grow government.
[He does not have an issues page. I wonder why. Could it be that his position on issues does not mesh with the position of a majority of Nebraska voters

Don joined the Air Force in 1985 and served for almost 30 years, retiring as a brigadier general (one star). He served in the intelligence, electronic warfare, reconnaissance, and public affairs career fields and had 16 assignments all over the world.
He commanded twice at the wing level, including at Ramstein Air Base in Germany and Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.
He also commanded one group, one squadron, and one expeditionary squadron. General Bacon deployed to the Middle East four times during his career, commanding an electronic warfare squadron during the invasion of Iraq and a year-long tour to Baghdad during the surge in 2007-2008.
Not only that, while Don and his wife were stationed at the Pentagon, he and I worshiped at the same church.
This race is the number one pick-up race in the country for conservatives, and I want to do everything I can to help Don.

“‘We need to have employer enforcement when it comes to hiring illegals. This is the root cause of our illegal immigration problem. We also need to secure our borders. Finally, we owe it to the 4.5 million people who are waiting to come to the United States legally to not give amnesty for citizenship to those who came here illegally.’”
