Have no desire to see her TV show or spend my money on any “premium” channel.] became a trending topic on Twitter earlier this week after outrage erupted over her latest statement about abortion [murder of babies within the womb].
On her latest podcast, Dunham said she ‘wishes’ that she had had an abortion [murder of babies within the womb], as her mother and many of her friends did.
After LifeNews and other outlets reported on her comments, people on both sides of the abortion [murder of babies within the womb] debate criticized Dunham for being so callous about such a sensitive topic. Dunham quickly apologized. She claimed her comment was a bad ‘joke [Right! One of the fallback lines after being called out on something. Will people ever learn? Words, like actions, have consequences. This is like those unthinking people who put evidence of their crimes on social media for the world to see and know about!]’ from a ‘delusional girl [“I’m too young and immature to know better.”]’ perspective that ‘careens between wisdom [Who besides herself says she has wisdom?] and ignorance.’

However, Dunham’s real fault—in the public eye—seems to have been being overly frank about her position. Her statement embodies the messaging of abortion [murder of babies within the womb] activists, who tell women that abortion [murder of babies within the womb] is a normal, simple medical procedure.
Other abortion [murder of babies within the womb] activists have been saying similar things for years, though in more subtle, well-spun terms; and there’s been little public outcry, other than from active pro-lifers.

They claim access to abortion [murder of babies within the womb] is key to women’s empowerment and success.

They put on plays and storytelling campaigns that label abortion [murder of babies within the womb] as ‘normal.’ Their supporting politicians no longer say abortions [murders of babies within the womb] should be ‘rare’ because ‘rare’ makes abortion [murder of babies within the womb] seem like a bad thing [Exactly! That use to be Bill and Hillary Clinton’s punch line as well as most of the Left. “Safe {It is never safe for the baby. However, the baby is just collateral damage to the Left}, legal {It has never been legal nationally}, and rare {It was certainly never rare with over a million murders a year for almost every year after being federal government sanctioned.} The Left finally dropped the “rare” when even they realized that rare meant it should NOT happen because it is morally wrong to murder a baby within the womb.]” .
They have convinced popular TV shows like ‘Jane the Virgin’ and ‘Scandal’ to portray abortion [murder of babies within the womb] as if it was a simple matter, too. And they’ve come up with their own movies—‘abortion [murder of babies within the womb] comedies [Seriously? Comedies?]’—to attempt to de-stigmatize the killing [murdering] of unborn children.
They often deny that there are any long-term negative consequences. A new study [propaganda piece] from pro-abortion [murder of babies within the womb] researchers even claimed to show that women who had abortions [murders of babies within the womb] were better off psychologically than women who gave birth to their unborn babies [Seriously? And they expect people to believe such nonsense?].
Dunham might as well have said she wished she had braces growing up, according to this line of thinking. For decades, abortion [murder of babies within the womb] facilities have compared having an abortion [murder of babies within the womb] to getting a tooth pulled [They have been liars from the very beginning! How else can one turn a moral EVIL into a “constitutional right?” And they continue lying to this day.].
Dunham’s statement exposed the truth about this deceptive line of thinking. And fortunately, the outrage that proceeded indicates that the American people are not being swayed by radical abortion [murder of babies within the womb] activists’ attempts to ‘normalize’ abortion [murder of babies within the womb. Just as they are trying to normalize the sin of homosexual behavior.].
Whether or not people support legalized abortion [murder of babies within the womb], most still find it morally troubling [Even if they are not willing to admit it. That is a good thing for them in this sense. It means they still have time to repent.]. And the reason is because of the undeniable fact that an abortion [murder of babies within the womb] kills [murders] an innocent [Key word that makes it murder. Innocent! Every baby within the womb is innocent.] human life.
Matt Walsh, a popular columnist for The Blaze, pointed this out in his most recent column:
‘… abortion [murder of babies within the womb] is legal [Not true. We, as a people, have been propagandized into believing that court decisions are laws. Constitutionally they are NOT. Laws come from Congress and only Congress at the federal level. Read Article I Section 1], but that does not change the fact that it is a heinous evil [Indeed, it is! The Left supports and promotes a heinous evil as a “constitutional right.” Do you realize how absurd that is?]. And because it is a heinous evil, despite the law [See above. There is no such law!], there is still a whisper of something, a sense, an instinct, an innate understanding that Lena Dunham even hears and feels herself. It’s this nagging voice that says to the most avid pro-abort [murder of babies within the womb], to every woman who has killed [murdered] her child no matter how deep her denial, to every sentient human being: ‘This is wrong [Very wrong. About as wrong as one can get!]. This is shameful. This is murder [Exactly. So why are we so reluctant to call it what it is? MURDER! Some killings are justified. NO murder is ever justified!].”
This is what the pro-abortion [murder of babies within the womb] camp calls ‘stigma.’ They blame it on society [Of course. They have to try to justify their support of and promotion of EVIL! Do you realize how difficult that should be? “We support EVIL, so should you!”]. They blame it on the Patriarchy. They blame it on pro-lifers. But those are ridiculous cop outs and they know it [Or should!].
Later, Walsh added:
‘When a woman “shouts her abortion [murder of babies within the womb],” she’s not shouting at us. She’s shouting at herself to drown out her conscience [One would hope. Not sure that is always true. A person’s conscience can be seared!]. When Lena Dunham complains of a ‘stigma,’ she’s really complaining about the existence of the ingrained Natural Law [GOD’S law!] which gives all human beings an innate understanding of right and wrong [Which comes from GOD. If we were animals as some falsely claim, we would have no conscience. A conscience is GOD engrained!].’
Fortunately, there is help and healing for individuals who are struggling with the pain and regret of a past abortion [murder of babies within the womb. True!]. Pro-life organizations run many of these programs, reaching thousands each year with compassion and care [You will get no compassion or care from the Left!]. These programs recognize that healing from the pain of abortion [murder of babies within the womb] begins at the source: The unjust destruction [Also know as murder.] of an innocent unborn child’s life.”
