Republican Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick announced legislation sponsored by State Senator Lois Kolkhorst (R-Brenham) that would require biological males to use the men’s room and biological females to use the women’s room in publicly-funded schools and government buildings [That this bill even has to be proposed demonstrates how badly we as a nation have fallen morally!].
The Women’s Privacy Act is ‘the right thing to do [It certainly is!],’ said Patrick, who opposed same-sex ‘marriage’ as a Texas legislator [As well he should! There is no such thing as same-sex marriage! It is man made-up garbage! The purpose of marriage is not to “legitimize” immoral, sinful behavior. The five supreme court members who sanctioned this sin should have been immediately impeached and the court should have been told that the nation is not going to enforce such wickedness!]. ‘The people of Texas elected us to stand up for common sense, common decency and public safety.’ [Amen! A sane elected public official who refuses to be bullied by the radical Left!]
The apparent intent of Senate Bill 6 is to pre-empt proposed laws from gay activists that allow men into girls’ and women’s showers, locker rooms, toilets, and intimate facilities, justified by a self-chosen ‘gender identity [It already has happened in Houston and it took a voter’s referendum to reverse it!].’

I’m personally not familiar with it but I am familiar with the radicalism of Canada when it comes to all things homosexual!] reported that protesters carried signs against SB6 and interrupted the announcement with loud ‘boos [Of course, the Left practices interruption and disrespect all the time! It is part of their intimidation tactics! “Tolerance for me; not for thee!”].’
Patrick said at a press conference that proponents realize it will be a politically incorrect and therefore a difficult battle, but the transgender [transsexual] agenda needs to be opposed [Opposed and soundly defeated, at every turn!]. “We know it’s going to be a tough fight, but we’re on the right side of the issue [Absolutely they are!],’ he said. ‘You can mark today as the day Texas is drawing a line in the sand and saying, ‘No [Amen! Every State in the union should! They should. However, they won’t because the Left has corrupted some States beyond moral recognition!.’’
Organized LGBTQ activist groups and the ACLU of Texas have lambasted the proposed legislation as ‘invidious [Typical Leftist LIE!],’ ‘discriminatory [How is it “discriminatory” to require a male to use male facilities which has been the practice from the beginning of our nation? What utter nonsense! The Left thinks anything they disagree with is discriminatory. It is one of their favorite buzz words along with racist, homophobic, and bigoted! Name calling is a favorite PROPAGANDA tool!],’ and bad for the Texas economy [Really, How was the economy hurt after the voters soundly defeated the Houston ordinance that gave delusional transsexuals special privileges? Texas is the tenth largest economy in the world! Texas ain’t North Carolina. Where is the Super Bowl being held this year? Houston! The Left isn’t so stupid as to attack Texas, is it? Texas ain’t North Carolina!]. They point to North Carolina’s separate bathroom law, which was opposed by numerous corporations that pressured the state by withdrawing business, canceling expansion plans, and relocating lucrative sports championships outside the state [And North Carolina is hanging tough! And Texas ain’t North Carolina!].
One homosexual advocacy group called ‘Keep Texas Open for Business’ released a study that claimed that Texas could [Could but won’t! Plus, the Left LIES all the time to get their way! They use threats and intimidation constantly! The way to defeat bullies is to stand up to the bullies and fight back!] lose from $964 million to $8.5 billion and from thousands to as many as 185,000 jobs over separate bathroom laws [Over common sense, morality, and decency?].
Patrick says the study is an exercise in ‘fear-mongering [Exactly!],’ using ‘misinformation [Lies!].’
Nevertheless, gay rights organization Human Rights Coalition (HRC) warned legislators, implying that they will lobby businesses to cripple Texas if it passes SB6 [A famous Texas saying: “Come and take it” (if you dare)]. HRC [There is NO human right for men to use women’s facilities! They are such liars and bullies!] president Chad Griffin accused Patrick and Senator Kolkhorst of ‘want(ing) to throw away $8.5 billion in revenue from lost visitors, businesses, sports leagues, and major entertainment groups [Scare tactics!].’
Griffin and the HRC threatened the state. ‘If lawmakers vote to discriminate [How is it discrimination?] against transgender [transsexual] people [who are delusional], Texas will be closed for business [Really! Houston wasn’t. “Don’t mess with Texas!”].’
Patrick mockingly countered, ‘The economic doom? The Super Bowl is teed up for 5:30 p.m. on February 7.[And I won’t be watching it because I am boycotting the NFL, the NBA, the NCAA, and every other sport’s organization that hypocritically supports transsexual nonsense!]’
Meanwhile, conservative groups applauded the legislation. Liberty Counsel released a statement noting that SB 6 ‘would still allow for accommodations for so-called transgender [transsexual] students, such as single-stall restrooms on a case-by-case basis’ and saying the bill would ‘protect women in public restrooms.’
‘This issue is not about discrimination,’ the Liberty Counsel statement read, ‘it’s about public safety, protecting businesses and common sense [Absolutely! Not that the Left cares! They only care about advancing their perverted agenda!].’
Political scuttlebutt is that the state Senate, which has a Republican majority, might very well pass the bill, but state House Speaker Joe Straus characterized the bill as not “the most urgent concern of mine [That is because he is a political Leftist who carries the Republican label but is at best a Republican In Name Only! He is Speaker because of the votes of Democrats and Leftist leaning Republicans.].’
As far as a gubernatorial veto, Texas Governor Greg Abbott remained noncommittal last month, saying the bill is ‘something that needs to be looked at [If it passes, he will not veto it unless he wants to commit political suicide! I don’t think he does! Remember, in Texas the Lieutenant Governor is more powerful than the Governor. Plus, the Governor is and was elected as a conservative.].’
Besides North Carolina, two other states, Virginia and Kentucky, have proposed gender [sex]-separate bathroom legislation [Sadly! It should not be necessary! In our increasingly morally bankrupt society, it seems it is!].
Texas successfully led 13 states in a lawsuit against the Obama administration forcing public schools to allow self-appointed ‘transgender [transsexual]’ children to use the bathroom of the opposite sex.”
Pray that Texas is successful! No delusional transsexual person should be permitted to use facilities that does not correspond to their actual sex. And contrary to radical Leftists who are trying to pervert the nation, there are only two sexes—male and female. That is how GOD made us in the beginning. It has not changed. It will not change!
