Support North Dakotas suit against the dangerous transgender mandate
By CitizenGO USA · 11/11/2016

Respect practitioners freedom of conscious

Dear Department of Health and Human Services and the Office for Civil Rights,

I am writing to express my disappointment in your department’s final rule on ‘Nondiscrimination in Health Programs and Activities.’ This rule disregards the freedom of medical practitioners to refuse to perform treatments that they believe will seriously and permanently harm their patients. Your mandate forces medical practitioners to violate the Hippocratic Oath [And is morally obscene!].

The State of North Dakota and several other institutions in North Dakota recently filed suit against you for this dangerous mandate. I am writing in support of their suit. I ask you to immediately revoke this mandate to protect the freedom of medical practitioners.

The Department of Health and Human Services previously declared that Medicare and Medicaid need not pay for gender transition treatments since ‘there is not enough evidence to determine whether gender reassignment surgery improves health outcomes for Medicare beneficiaries with gender dysphoria [It does not! It mutilates the body of a person for no possible reason. Mutilating the body of a person does not change the sex of an individual!]’ Especially given this lack of evidence, the freedom of medical practitioners should be respected.

Sincerely,

Don L. Vance”

“Recommendation on HRC report, Res. 32/2

With regards to the report of the Human Rights Council (#A/71/53)

[ http://www.un.org/en/ga/search/view_doc.asp?symbol=A/71/53 ], resolution 32/2

‘Protection against violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity,’ I recommend the following:

1) The General Assembly must suppress the office ofindependent expert on violence and discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.’ Anything short of this amounts to allowing the United Nations to launch a global campaign to destroy the family and the health and morals of our children.

2) Abstaining from an inevitable vote to suppress the mandate is not an option and amounts to a betrayal of the family and our children. We will not stand idly by while marriage, the family, and our children are attacked.

3) We will not be intimidated by threats to withdraw development assistance. Development assistance will not save the family and our children if it comes at the cost of sacrificing their heath and morals.

Sincerely,

Don L. Vance”

It is past time for the US to get out of the UN and the UN to get out of the US. It has become a corrupt international organization!

“The painful truth is this: Your tax-dollars help finance Planned Parenthood [Of course they do and the Republicans even while having a majority in Congress since the 2014 election keep funding it every year. The Continuing Resolution ends December 9 of this year. Will the Republican majority continue to fund Planned Murderhood?].

Becauseevery yearPlanned Parenthood [Murderhood] gets about $528 million in federal funding, which covers 40% of its pro-abortion [Murder] budget. With that infusion of cash, Planned Parenthood killed [Murdered!] 327,653 babies in one year, according to its own annual report.

That’s 27,304 abortions per month ... 910 per day ... 37 per hour [And about 1/3rd of all abortions/murders per year.].

Please sign this pro-life petition now. Tell Congress to STOP funding Planned Parenthood [Murderhood].

Now is the time to seize the day to win in 2018 with pro-life candidates to abolish the murder of unborn babies once and for all through an act of Congress!

“Weakness, failure, cronyism, idiocy: The GOP [The Capitulation Party] is back in DC
By: Daniel Horowitz | November 15, 2016

In case you thought Republicans would be emboldened to crush the liberal agenda [As they should and need to be.] and focus on their mandate, think again. Given the Republican agenda in just the first 48 hours back in Washington after the election, they’d do themselves and the country a favor by abolishing the lame-duck session.

Same failed leaders

[Notes: the grade and percent are from the Conservative Review Scorecard. RINO stands for Republican In Name Only]

Today, House leadership rammed through leadership elections before incoming freshmen even knew where to find the bathrooms [And before all the House elections were finished. There is a runoff election in Louisiana in early December. What is the hurry?] and ensured that all the existing honchos were re-elected [That was the reason for the vote. To ensure that the old RINO leadership became the new RINO leadership.]. Paul Ryan, R-Wisconsin (F, 51%) was re-elected as Speaker, Kevin McCarthy, R-California (F, 35%) as Majority Leaders, Steve Scalise, R-Louisiana (D, 62%) as Whip, and Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Washington (F, 41%) as Conference Chair. Conservatives even lost the lower tier leadership races. Representative Steve Stivers, R-Ohio (F, 32%) was elected as chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRSC) over a more conservative opponent, Representative Roger Williams, R-Texas (C, 79%). A man who voted more with the Democrats will now be in charge of recruiting candidates for the GOP majority [A RINO recruiting RINOS! No wonder conservatives are upset with the Republican Party!]. The same people with the same failed modus operandi and the same broken political barometer will be leading the GOPs governing agenda in the House. (Ditto for the Senate.)

As Representative Dave Brat, R-Virginia (A, 100%) wrote so convincingly, leadership elections should have been postponed until there is a clear direction as to the 100-day agenda of each leader. Why not give the freshmen more time to acquaint themselves with the candidates? Why the rush [So there would be no revolt!]?

A weak agenda rooted in defensiveness

And what do we mean by the same failed modus operandi and a broken political barometer, one which tells them a winning issue is a loser and a losing issue is a winner?

Look no further than this week’s agenda:

As CR [Conservative Review] already reported, the very first act of the GOP House after the election was to create a new government board designed to market products of the concrete industry. [Seriously! Here is the problem with this vote. Percentage wise, more Democrats voted for the bill than Republicans. The Capitulation Party just took over the Presidency and maintained their majorities in Congress and this is the first vote after the electionto expand the federal governments meddling in the free enterprise system and create a new taxon the consumer? The Democrats MUST be laughing at the Capitulation Party!] The cost is paid for by levying what is essentially a tax that will be passed on to consumers. The federal government is basically running a 501(c)(6) business association for the masonry industry. This is the worst type of crony capitalism, expansion of government, and market social engineering that every Republican campaigned to end.

[Yes, but the election is over and now they don’t have to be concerned with the voter.

The vote totals:

Party Yes No Not voting
Republican 188 37 20
Democrat 167 1 18
Total 355 38 38

Voting Yes: Darin LaHood Congressman for Illinois Congressional District 18]

What else is on the GOP agenda?

House Resolution (H.R.) 780 —‘A resolution urging respect for the constitution of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the democratic transition of power in 2016.’ How about a resolution urging the respect of our Constitution and Republicans demonstrating a commitment to taking power back from the judiciary and the executive [Is that too much to ask? It seems it is!]? How about passing a resolution committing to Article I [The Article that establishes the Congress.] in the next Congress and demonstrating that this Congress will somehow be different? And on the subject of Congo, why are we taking in so many refugees from there [Ask the President! He knows Congress will do nothing to stop him!]?

H.R. 5332 —Women, Peace, and Security Act —‘A bill to ensure that the United States promotes the meaningful participation of women in mediation and negotiations processes seeking to prevent, mitigate, or resolve violent conflict [What?].’ This bill was introduced by Representative Kristi Noem, R-South Dakota (F, 42%), who is erroneously regarded as a conservative by many commentators and is now planning to run for governor in South Dakota [I have already received an e-mail from her campaign stating so and asking for money.]. This is the sort of pathetic identity politics that has been so soundly repudiated by this election [Or not, it seems! Maybe the Republicans did not get the message! Are they really going to drain the swamp when the leadership is in the swamp?].

Imagine what Republicans could spend their time on if they truly wanted to signal that they’ve changed their ways. They could pass a resolution blocking Obama from bringing in 1,800 migrants that even Australia rejected [Too difficult! What gives with that decision anyway? Where are the Republicans?]. Or, they could address the border surge [Too difficult! What gives with yet another INVASION of the United States? Where are the Republicans?]. But no, banality reigns supreme.

While Democrats spend every waking hour plotting to advance the liberal agenda and marginalize conservatives, Republicans spend every waking hour focusing on random special interests, bills that can’t be messaged to their constituents, and avoiding contentious issues and important reforms, even when they are electoral winners. That is the GOP modus operandi that will sadly continue unless the people around Trump force them to change [Better have a lot of battle tested conservatives around Donald Trump! Sadly true! What a country we could have if we advanced our Constitutional, conservative agenda getting the same results for our agenda as the radical Democrats do advancing their agenda!].

A return to earmarks?

One of the only fiscal reforms that conservatives have secured in recent years was the abolition of earmarks. The problem with earmarks is not the relatively small cost of the expenditure, but that the practice is used to buy off members in support of terrible legislation. As I told Breitbart.com, it is the magic grease and force multiplier to get a majority of members to support any bad policy.

Yet tomorrow, when the House GOP Conference formally adopts its rules package for the next Congress, a group of big spenders will push for a vote on restoring earmarks. Representatives. John Culberson, R-Texas (F, 54%), Mike Rogers, R-Alabama (F, 54%), and Tom Rooney, R-Florida (F, 58%) plan to call a vote to restore earmarks. Paul Ryan would be wise to deny them a vote like he does when he blocks many conservative initiatives [Paul Ryan has since said that they are going to wait on this for more study. My addition to the addition: [Then they will do it when less people are paying attention]].

What is further disturbing on the fiscal front is that RINO [Republican In Name Only] Representative Rodney Frelinghuysen, R-New Jersey (F, 29%) is slated to take over as chairman of the Appropriations Committee with porker-in-chief Hal Rogers, R-Kentucky (F, 30%) term-limited out of office. Republicans will be inheriting $20 trillion debt, which is a tremendous drag on the economy in addition to being a liability on our children. It would have been a nice opportunity for Republicans to demonstrate that they will not repeat the mistakes of the Bush years by appointing a fiscal hawk as chair of the check-writing committee. Instead, they will choose someone with a 29 percent Liberty Score® [Same old; same old!].

Conservatives must not hope for change. They must ensure change [Amen!].

The first step to forcing change is to mitigate any more harm. Congress should extend the FY [Fiscal Year] 2017 budget CR [Continuing Resolution] to next April [How likely is this? The Republicans have already capitulated on the last two CRS!]—when hopefully an invigorated majority will finally pass conservative priorities. After that, they should short circuit the lame-duck session and get out of town.

Over the December break, conservatives should build support for immediate and complete repeal of Obamacare [Without replacement since there is no constitutional authority for the federal government to be involved in healthcare!] when Congress convenes in January and have a repeal bill ready for Donald Trump the minute he returns from the inaugural ball. [That would be great but I would not hold my breath waiting for it! That would take political courage and determination. I do not see that in the new Republican led Congress with the same old leadership. We did not get any new conservative Senators in the Senate although we had a chance for at least three. Republican RINOS fought against all three!]

Amazingly, Paul Ryan opened the conference meeting today with the following declaration!

Steven Shepard @POLITICO_Steve

WASHINGTON (AP)—House Speaker Ryan to nation: ‘Welcome to the dawn of a new unified Republican government.’

9:49 AM - 15 Nov 2016 · Arlington, VA

Actually, meet the new boss … same as the old boss.

If Ryan wants us to believe this is a new governing majority, he must prove it.”

Will he? I pray he does. However, I have serious doubts about his desire to change the Party!
