Abolishing the murder of babies within the womb by Congressional law will actually be faster and more effective than waiting on the court. Right now there are five justices on the court who support the murder of babies within the womb. The four radical Leftist justices appointed by Democrat Presidents and Justice Kennedy. Therefore, to even have a chance of the court reversing, we need one more Constitutional Justice and the one appointed has to replace one of the five pro-murdering babies within the womb justices. Even then, it would take a couple of years, at least, to get the case through the court system.
Passing a law of Congress is the best way of ending the terror of our American holocaust. The best way to abolish the murder of babies within the womb. The best way to stop any State from passing a law allowing the murder of babies within the womb. And it is also best constitutionally.
Life for all persons within the United States including babies within the womb is guaranteed and protected by the Declaration of Independence, Amendment V of the United States Constitution, and Amendment XIV of the United States Constitution. No court, no government body, no individual can constitutionally sanction the murder of babies within the womb. All such decisions, laws, and regulations are patently unconstitutional and illegal and should be immediately abolished by Congress by law!
Statistically, everyday of delay over 2,700 babies are murdered in the womb through abortion using 1 million abortions a year as a baseline. It is past time to attack the evil of murdering babies within the womb on every front with every legal weapon we can use until the murder of babies within the womb is abolished completely throughout the United States and its territories. August is back to school month which is normally the second busiest season for retailers like Target. Yet, while the Dow Jones was up 3.99%, Target was only up 1.14%. The boycott stills seems to be having the desired effect.

It is past time to hold federal judges accountable. Impeachment is a method provided within the Constitution to hold federal judges accountable. The federal government should not even be involved in education. Education is not a power granted to the federal government by the Constitution. Audie Murphy, the most decorated soldier of WWII, perished in a plane crash on this day in 1971. Murphy is remembered for being a physically diminutive man with a colossal spirit and a marksman’s deadeye.
Murphy was the seventh of twelve children born to a poor farming family in rural Texas. He did his part as a teenager to support his family after their father abandoned them, honing his skills as a sharpshooter by hunting squirrels and rabbits to put food on the table.
Murphy first tried to enlist in the Marines, and then the Air Force, but was mocked by both branches for his 5’5”, 110-lb frame and boyish looks. The Army accepted him eventually (at age 17 – after his sister helped him alter his birth records [Fraud to join the army.]), with the intention of giving him a kitchen job [Typical of the military?].
Undeterred, and despite fainting during a boot camp training exercise, Murphy become a combat soldier, just as he had intended. He went on to earn 33 medals and decorations, among them: the Medal of Honor, a Distinguished Service Cross, two Silver Stars, the French Forrager, and the Belgian Croix de Guerre 1940 with Palm [As an old marine veteran client of mine would have said, “Not too shabby.”].
Love for His Rifle.
The tales of Murphy’s valor on the battlefield are almost unbelievable – so much so that the director of the biopic based on his autobiography, To Hell and Back, subdued certain scenes, because he was worried audiences wouldn’t believe they weren’t exaggerated [Today, they intentionally exaggerate.].
Murphy’s life was filled with firearms, from his childhood hunts in the fields of Texas, to his years as a soldier, to his later life, when he went to Hollywood and starred in shoot-em-ups, including: The Gun Runners, Gunsmoke, The Guns of Fort Petticoat, Gunpoint, and 40 Guns to Apache Pass. Murphy’s Colt Bisley Revolver – gifted to him from Gary Cooper – is on display at the Cody Firearms Museum at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming [He also was the star of a short lived TV series entitled Whispering Smith.].
Tom Brokaw, writing in the forward of To Hell and Back, tells the following story about Murphy:
‘Not long before his untimely death in an airplane accident, I was working in California when Audie Murphy came back into the news. A woman friend had sent her dog to a trainer, and she wasn’t happy with the results. As I recall, she asked Audie to intervene. He visited the dog trainer, who then complained to the police that Murphy had shot at him.
The local police brought Murphy in for questioning. By then his acting career was in decline, and, unfortunately, his World War II heroism was pushed into the background by concerns of the widening war [conflict] in Vietnam.
Nonetheless, when Murphy was released without charges, a large number of reporters were outside the police station. Murphy agreed to take a few questions. One of the reporters asked, ‘Audie, did you shoot at that guy?’
Audie Murphy, the most decorated combat veteran of World War II, stared at his interrogator for a moment, and then said in that familiar Texas voice, ‘If I had, do you think I would have missed [Exactly.]?’’
The following anecdotes were generously shared with Gunpowder Magazine by The Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum in Greenville, Texas:
‘From the beginning, an infantryman is taught that his best friend is his rifle, and Audie could often be found cleaning and polishing it long after other platoon members had gone to supper. He could field strip his rifle - taking it apart and putting it back together - blindfolded and with great speed.
‘One night after supper when Murph was stripping his Springfield ’03 blindfolded, I slipped a part of an M-1 in with the disassembled Springfield parts . . . as soon as he touched the strange gun part he jerked off the blindfold to see what was wrong.’

Because of Audie’s size and appearance, his company commanders at both Camps Wolters and Meade tried to spare him the rigors of the combat infantryman by trying to send him to Cook and Baker’s School, but Audie protested so long and loudly that the idea was dropped. Later, at Fort Meade, his company commander tried to talk him into permanently working at the Post Exchange, but Audie would have none of it - he had joined the Army to fight, not to sell shoes and socks [Can not accurately judge a man by his physical size alone. So many other qualities that determine a man besides his physical appearance. The same is true too of women, of course.].
While at Fort Meade, one of the many soldier traps just outside the fort was a shooting gallery. The most difficult target was a playing card with five red, quarter-inch dots on it, one in each corner and one in the center. The object was to shoot out the dots with five shots from a .22 rifle at thirty feet and win $25 in cash, which was almost a month’s pay for a private. Audie accomplished the feat, but the proprietor refused to pay off to the baby-faced private. Audie was angry and reported the incident to the company commander, who visited the gallery that evening and demanded that the proprietor pay Audie or the gallery would be placed ‘off limits.’ Audie was paid, but the owner never let him shoot there again [Of course not. He could not afford to lose that kind of money over and over again.].’”

I recently had the opportunity to chat with Ashley, a policewoman from one of the largest cities in America about her life as a cop, common misconceptions people have about her line of work, and, of course, guns. The following are five takeaways from our conversation that gun owners – and all citizens – should know:
1) ‘Everybody needs to defend themselves.’
“I’m very pro-Second Amendment [As she should be. Law enforcement can’t be everywhere and murders occur in seconds not minutes. Proof that the Left hates people. Every person has the right to protect and defend his life and the lives of others.],’ Ashley said. ‘Everyone needs to defend themselves, because a cop can’t be on every corner [Exactly.]. Especially in the department I work with, we’re so short-staffed, and it seems they’re short-staffed across the country right now. The average response time for a 911 [emergency] call is 8 minutes [A whole lot of unarmed people can be murdered in 8 minutes.]. If someone is breaking into your house or attacking you, it’s 5-8 minutes until a cop responds, so I’m definitely pro-people defending themselves, so long as they’re legally justified in doing so!’
2) ‘We don’t practice as much as we should [This is one reason for bad shootings.].’
‘Each department’s different. In my department, we’re required to qualify once a year with our duty weapon. If we carry a long gun, those requirements are different. When I first got on (the force), we got 100 rounds a month to go down to the range and practice, but with budget issues, that went away [And almost all departments have budget issues.].
‘The qualification test is stressful, because we don’t practice as much as we should. We’re required to carry, but we have hardly any training. We’re required to qualify once a year on our sidearms, at least that’s how my department is, but as far as practice ammo, we have to find our own time and money to practice. I know my department and public safety departments across the country have staffing issues. It’s a matter of your department – can you get the time off to go get the training needed? A lot of time, we don’t have the bodies, with people taking time off due to sickness, injury, etc., so no, you can’t go. It’s frustrating. I pay attention to ammo sales and buy my own [She is not alone. A smart gun shop would give a special discount to law enforcement officers, in my opinion.].’
3) ‘Practice, practice, practice.’
‘People need to go through the proper training, be familiarized, know how to operate the gun, assume all guns are always loaded – basic fundamental firearms safety.
‘I grew up in a gun family, so I’ve always been comfortable with guns, but I get women coming up to me all the time asking me, ‘What can I do to get comfortable around firearms?’ The local gun ranges where I live offer ‘Women’s Day,’ where you get free gun rentals and free range time. All you have to do is pay for ammo and targets. It gets you into the range to figure out what kind of gun you want, (and) to the point you’re comfortable manipulating it. When it comes down to it, you need to be able to properly use a firearm and properly articulate if you are legally allowed to defend yourself.
‘Try different varieties of guns, and once you find the gun you’re comfortable with, then practice, practice, practice [Perfect practice leads to almost perfect results. Sloppy practice leads to terrible results. Practice as if your life depended upon it. It may well be the case. Actual combat is different than practice. You NEED to be willing to pull AND fire. Don’t pull a gun unless needed and you are willing to fire. Split seconds are important. Longer and you are probably dead. If he is a bad guy, he is reacting to your reactions just as you are to his. He is not going to wait for you to decide whether or not you are going to shoot. He will. And ALWAYS hold and point the gun properly.]. Get that muscle memory down. Be comfortable with how you’re carrying. If you’re carrying a concealed carry purse – I have a concealed carry purse – practice with that. If you’re carrying with an in-the-waistband holster, get comfortable with that [Make it second nature. Don’t ever assume he has only one weapon.].
‘In law enforcement, we get questions all the time, ‘Why don’t cops shoot in the arm? Why don’t they shoot in the leg [Because they are not stupid or trained that way.]?’ Well, we shoot center-mass, because we’re trained to stop the threat [Exactly.], and center-mass is the most effective means by which to neutralize a threat [Of course.]. When you’re put in a stressful situation, you get that tunnel vision, your pulse and blood pressure start to get elevated, and you shoot center-mass, because that’s how you’ve trained [And that is how you save your life. If it is his life or yours, you ALWAYS choose your life.].’
4) ‘I have to account for where every round goes.’
“I don’t think the public understands that we shoot center-mass instead of in the arms and legs, (because) [Absolutely. What trained to do. Also trained to keep shooting until the suspect is out of commission. No officer in his right mind shots once and stops. I read an article where a person was shot five times in the head and lived. If the person is still alive and can move, he is still a danger.] we have to account for where each and every one of those rounds goes. If I shoot five rounds, I have to pay attention to what my backdrop is. Are there any innocents back there? I have to account for where every round goes, even with my shotgun. For the rounds we carry, there are nine BBs in the shell, and I have to account for where every one of those BBs goes. We actually do, at the end of our shotgun quals (qualifications), a spread pattern test at the different yard ranges, up to 50 yards. We measure what the spread is.’
5) ‘Keep your hands in plain view [NO quick movements and stay calm.]’
‘Two of the most dangerous things an officer responds to are domestic violence calls and traffic stops [Unknown factors. Dangerous or not?]. We have no idea who is behind that wheel. The best thing citizens can do is, anytime you get pulled over, keep your hands in plain view [And NO quick movements.]. If you have (very dark tinted windows [Illegal in some States.]), please roll down your windows, just so we can see who’s in the back to make us feel safer [Exactly.]. If at nighttime you get pulled over, same concept, keep your hands on the steering wheel, put that dome light on to make us feel more at ease. Just listen to the officer. You have the right to request their supervisor if you disagree with them [My advice. Take the ticket or whatever. Fight it in court, if necessary. Don’t ever argue with the officer. Fight it in court. Write down everything that happened as a record as soon as you can. Or, film it. The officer does.]. If you’re asked for your registration, just let us know where it is (before you reach for it). We understand you guys are nervous [Stay calm.]. My heart rate goes up, too, when I get pulled over!’”
