Abolishing the murder of babies within the womb by Congressional law will actually be faster and more effective than waiting on the court. Right now there are five justices on the court who support the murder of babies within the womb. The four radical Leftist justices appointed by Democrat Presidents and Justice Kennedy. Therefore, to even have a chance of the court reversing, we need two more Constitutional Justices and the second one has to replace one of the five pro-murdering babies within the womb justices. Even then, it would take a couple of years, at least, to get the case through the court system.
Passing a law of Congress is the best way of ending the terror of our American holocaust. The best way to abolish the murder of babies within the womb. The best way to stop any State from passing a law allowing the murder of babies within the womb. And it is also best constitutionally.
Life for all persons within the United States including babies within the womb is guaranteed and protected by the Declaration of Independence, Amendment V of the United States Constitution, and Amendment XIV of the United States Constitution. No court, no government body, no individual can constitutionally sanction the murder of babies within the womb. All such decisions, laws, and regulations are patently unconstitutional and illegal and should be immediately abolished by Congress by law!
Statistically, everyday of delay over 2,700 babies are murdered in the womb through abortion using 1 million abortions a year as a baseline. It is past time to attack the evil of murdering babies within the womb on every front with every legal weapon we can use until the murder of babies within the womb is abolished completely throughout the United States and its territories. Late last week, I did three posts on this race. A down to the wire race where turnout may well have been the difference. Who can best get their supporters to the polls?

“Yesterday [Tuesday May 16, 2017], Conservatives won an important victory in the Republican primary runoff election for Congress in South Carolina’s 5th district. SCF [Senate Conservatives Fund]-backed Ralph Norman (Republican - South Carolina) defeated establishment-backed Tommy Pope (Republican - South Carolina) in a very close race.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and groups with ties to House Speaker Paul Ryan (Republican - Wisconsin) spent heavily in an attempt to defeat Norman because he said he would join the House Freedom Caucus.
But conservatives fought back and out of 35,000 votes cast, Ralph Norman won the election by 203 votes [In some elections, every vote counts.] !!
It’s a major victory for our principles and I want to thank our supporters for making it happen. Ralph Norman would not have won this race without your help.”
My own experience with health insurance costs as an elected member of the Marana School Board located northwest of Tucson, Arizona.
Background information: I was elected to the school board in November of 1982. New members took office at the first meeting in January. I am writing this from memory so the specifics may be somewhat incorrect. However, the concepts are not.
Back in 1980, Arizona had five elected school board members for each school district. In our case, three school board members were elected in 1980 and two were elected in 1982. Each school board member served a four year term. Marana was the largest public school district within the State of Arizona based upon square miles. In 1982, it had about 5,000 students in the district. My last year on the board, the school district had almost 6,000 students in the district. We were a rapidly growing district and built three elementary schools, a second junior high school, and a second high school during my four years on the board. Last time I checked which was about two years ago, Marana had over 16,000 students in the district.
My family and I moved to an unincorporated area of Tucson (mailing address) in June of 1980. In the November election, 3 new school board members were elected . I don‘t remember any incumbents seeking reelection but there may have been. If there were, they lost. Of the 3 new members, one was a teacher from another district, one was a former teacher, and the third was self employed and lived across the street and about three houses down from our house. The three new members initiated the building program for the district and got the bond election to build the schools passed.
In my 1982 election, both incumbents ran for reelection along with three other challengers. I received the most votes, the person who came in fourth in 1980 came in second, and both incumbents lost. I was a former teacher and the second elected member was a teacher from another district. Thus, the 1983 board consisted of two teachers, two former teachers, and a self employed writer. Some school boards were and are controlled by the administration. We were not. We had four members who knew how school systems worked and a fifth who was a fast learner. We controlled policy making in the district.
The fiscal (budget) year for the district began on July 1 and ended on June 30 for each year. Therefore, the two major events that we concentrated on when I first took office were building the new schools and contract negotiations for the 1983-1984 fiscal year with the three employee groups in the district. The three groups were certified personnel (teachers) which was the largest group and the most expensive part of the budget, classified personnel (secretaries, custodians, and such), and administrators. By law, school boards did not have to negotiate with their employees. We did and I imagine most other districts did. Board practice was to negotiate with the teachers first and give basically the same contract to the other two groups. Thus, the contact with the teachers was of paramount importance.
I soon learned that the most contentious issue of the negotiations was over the health insurance offered to the three groups. That first negotiations were difficult and the contract was only completed after an all night session with a mediator facilitating the negotiation of the contract.
The next year, I offered a solution to the insurance problem. Each group would be given the same money received the previous year for insurance plus three percent which was the approximate rate of overall inflation over the last year. The increasing cost of insurance for the district was habitually over the overall rate of inflation. However, instead of the district dealing with the insurance company, each group would determine what insurance they wanted and would negotiate with the insurance company directly under the umbrella of the school district. This would give each group the ability to design the best policy they could for their own group. As an incentive bonus, any money that the group saved through the end of the contract would be divided equally between the members of the group.
It worked out well. Every group got the coverage they wanted and every group received money back at the end of the year. It was a great example of free markets WITHOUT government (school district) control.
Unfortunately, the State of Arizona disagreed. In the yearly audit, the State concluded we had violated State law by giving employees money without them actually working for it. I disagreed since we were just converting district provided insurance to cash. The school attorney, who was a member of one the best educational law firms in the State, had approved the proposal and had advised that it met the legal requirements. I wanted to fight the conclusion of the State. However, a majority of the board did not. Therefore, we had to terminate the program because of State law.
The program was a success. The program was based upon free markets. The program saved money and gave good quality. Quality that the employees themselves selected. It was stymied by State law and State regulation.
And that’s the moral of the incident. The free market works best. Unnecessary government regulation and laws cause increased costs and lower quality of benefits. It’s true at the State level and it is true at the federal level. The federal government needs to get out of the business of regulating insurance and healthcare. It does far more damage than good.
The federal government has no constitutional authority to be involved in either healthcare insurance or healthcare. Both are reserved to the States. There should have never been a Department of Health and Human Services, an Obamacare law, or the proposed American Health Care Act.
The ONLY VALID solution for the Republican Party is to REPEAL Obamacare lock, stock, and barrel. Obamacare must not be replaced or revised. Obamacare must be repealed totally and completely and before the election in 2018. The Republican Party will be held accountable. The Left will make sure of that. The Left is not held accountable by the Republican Party but the Left does hold the Republican Party accountable. The Republican Party will pay a terrible price if they do not repeal Obamacare.
