Abolishing the murder of babies within the womb by Congressional law will actually be faster and more effective than waiting on the court. Right now there are five justices on the court who support the murder of babies within the womb. The four radical Leftist justices appointed by Democrat Presidents and Justice Kennedy. Therefore, to even have a chance of the court reversing, we need two more Constitutional Justices and the second one has to replace one of the five pro-murdering babies within the womb justices. Even then, it would take a couple of years, at least, to get the case through the court system.
Passing a law of Congress is the best way of ending the terror of our American holocaust. The best way to abolish the murder of babies within the womb. The best way to stop any State from passing a law allowing the murder of babies within the womb. And it is also best constitutionally.
Life for all persons within the United States including babies within the womb is guaranteed and protected by the Declaration of Independence, Amendment V of the United States Constitution, and Amendment XIV of the United States Constitution. No court, no government body, no individual can constitutionally sanction the murder of babies within the womb. All such decisions, laws, and regulations are patently unconstitutional and illegal and should be immediately abolished by Congress by law!
Statistically, everyday of delay over 2,700 babies are murdered in the womb through abortion using 1 million abortions a year as a baseline. According to the Republican leadership—Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (Republican - Wisconsin) and President Donald Trump in particular—last week marked a celebratory moment for conservatism [There is NOTHING conservative about the Act. It is a continuation of the federal government take over through regulations of about one-sixth of the American economy.]. In particular, the House’s passage of the American Health Care Act (AHCA) marked two pieces of great news. First, the free market in health care had been saved [No way. Quite the opposite.] from the depredations of leftist governance! Second, the free market will certainly not be allowed to run roughshod over those with preexisting conditions—the government will help them [Is it free markets or is it government control? It can not be both. They are mutually exclusive.]!
For most of my adult life, the Republican party has proclaimed to its supporters that it stands for free markets [Also known as the Free Enterprise System.]. Then, when the legislative process begins, the Republican party abandons its supposed free-market principles in favor of Democrat [Leftist]-lite policy. To bridge the gap, Republicans simply pretend that the latter is the former—they pretend that the government measures they embrace are actually free-market measures [They lie.]. So, for example, when it comes to the American Health Care Act, Ryan told Hugh Hewitt last week:
‘Either you believe in your principles [It is obvious that Speaker Paul Ryan does not believe in free markets. Establishment Republicans use “free markets” as a buzz word rather than a principle to which to adhere. Just like then President Obama, he says one thing while meaning another. In the real world, that is known as lying.], or you don’t. And our principles are we should have a free market in health care [Then why didn’t they repeal Obamacare lock, stock, and barrel and allow the free market to work? Because they don’t really believe in free markets. They believe in government control. Government control by establishment Republicans rather than by Leftists.], a patient-centered system run by consumers [Run by consumers? How so under government control and government dictates?]. That’s why we have [We have? Does he not understand the hypocrisy of such a statement. How can it be a free market run by consumers if government (we) has (have)?] risk pools, tax credits and health savings accounts.’
Now, it should be noted that state-created and state-sponsored risk pools are not ‘free-market measures [Absolutely are not free market measures.].’ If they were, then so were Obamacare exchanges. People are capable of collectively bargaining over health care—employers do it with insurance companies every day, and cooperative health arrangements such as religious health-care co-ops do the same. But state-run programs in which the state bargains on behalf of consumers using taxpayer subsidies are not free markets [Certainly not. They are just the opposite.]. They are subsidies to insurance companies.
Tax credits are also not free-market solutions. Handing $2,000 to someone who doesn’t pay that amount in income tax amounts to a back-door entitlement [It amounts to the government selecting winners and losers. The “winners” are all those receiving government money in whatever form derived. The losers are the other tax payers who are paying for it. The federal government does not have its own money. It all comes from taxpayers. It is government sanctioned theft.]. And tax credits designated for particular ends desired by government are not indicative of free-market principles [Of course not.], either. They, too, are corporatist in nature. Government-induced health savings accounts might be preferable to paying higher taxes, but they are clearly a government-run form of social engineering [Certainly.].
Herein lies the problem.
Republicans are afraid of actually standing for conservative principle when it comes to policy [Because they don’t actually support it and therefore can’t make the economic case for it.]. Here is the conservative policy take on health insurance: A free market guarantees the highest-quality, lowest-price service in any market [Absolutely true. A free market exudes competition. There is no competition under government control of the market.]. Skewing that market with government-backed incentive schemes reduces efficiency, destroys competition, and undercuts quality [And picks winners and losers usually for political purposes.]. If we all truly want better health care, the only way to provide it is through measures that incentivize a higher supply of health care, not a rationing of the available care through redistributionist schemes. That means the first priority for Republicans should be removing damaging regulations on preexisting conditions and essential health benefits. [First priority is to repeal Obamacare lock, stock, and barrel. Second priority is to get the federal government out of the health care business other than what is allowed by the Constitution which is extremely limited relating totally to interstate commerce.]
Yet those are precisely the two provisions about which Republicans are most skittish. Here, again, is Ryan—this time making his pitch to George Stephanopoulos [A Leftist ”journalist.”]:
‘We can achieve the goals we all want [Which are? Federal government control?], which is getting the cost of coverage down [Not with federal government control.] and making sure that everyone has access to affordable health care [Not within the authority of the federal government. Also not possible by federal government control. What is the definition of affordable?], especially and including people with preexisting conditions [See my post on the fraud of “preexisting conditions.”] That is what our bill does [Liar. The exact same claim made for Obamacare. Not the actual result.].’

But that is explicitly not what the bill does [Correct.]. It may bring down the cost of health care in states that opt out of Obamacare regulations [Although it probably won’t even in those States although it may slow down the comparable increases.], but it does not get rid of the federal mandate [Exactly. And the mandate itself increases costs.]. And no system short of full-scale subsidization of those with preexisting conditions will bring down costs for them, particularly without an individual mandate forcing those who are young and healthy to sponsor those who are not [Selecting winners and losers. Subsidize one group and all the other unsubsidized groups pay for the subsidized group. It is an unavoidable fact of life. There is no such thing as free government money.].
The result of this political gobbledygook is that free markets take the hit [Does not exist.]. As always. Advocates of the free market aren’t consulted about whether the bill at issue actually reflects free-market principles. Instead, Republicans simply say that giant government subsidy schemes are ‘free market [They lie.],’ Democrats take them at their word for political purposes, the Republican subsidy scheme fails in the same general way that a Democratic scheme would have, and the public clamors for more government involvement—to which Republicans answer by stating that they’ll administer that government involvement more efficiently than Democrats would. You know, to save the free market, and all that.
‘The result of this political gobbledygook is that free markets take the hit. As always.’
This is what happened in 2008, when President George W. Bush justified his series of bailouts of major financial institutions by appealing to the flaws of the free market: ‘I’ve abandoned free-market principles to save the free market [What? Seriously? By the way, in a free market system there is no such thing as a business or industry “too big to fail.” Companies fail when they stop competing successfully in the free market.].’ It is quite possible that a government action might be necessary to provide a corrective to bad government policy as a transition toward free markets, but Bush’s line seemed to imply that he had spotted a flaw in the free-market system that required government intervention [Which is nonsense.].
That, of course, is the entire premise of the neo-Keynesian Left. With regard to the financial crash of 2008, of course, that was claptrap: It was government interventions in the mortgage market, combined with government interventions in financial markets, that led to the moral hazard that culminated in the financial collapse. Nonetheless, Americans received one message loud and clear: 2008 represented a failure of capitalism [Outright lie.].
The same is happening now on health care. When the Republican scheme fails to provide health-care utopia—which it will [Absolutely true.], since a heavily regulated system is the problem to begin with [Absolutely true.]—the public will assume that those free-market Republicans were to blame, along with the laissez-faire principles they supposedly champion. Americans will call for more government. That’s Republicans’ fault. If they’re not going to buy free-market policies, they should stop pretending that they care about promoting free-market principles [True!]. Doing otherwise guts the case for free markets. And once that case has been gutted, only awful solutions remain [Claimed solutions are government controlled solutions which NEVER have worked and NEVER will work because government always decides the winners and losers and there are always winners and losers with government control.].”

Here is a hypothetical example of how “pre-existing condition” works under Obamacare. An adult has never had insurance coverage. He may or may not have paid the “tax” for not having coverage. At age 62, he is feeling bad so he goes to the doctor. The doctor tells him he has stage 4 cancer. He rushes to an insurance company and buys healthcare insurance. The insurance company can not charge him more for his policy because he has stage 4 cancer. The insurance company can not deny him a policy.
“Pre-existing condition” is great for the person with stage 4 cancer who didn’t have insurance before the cancer was discovered. Not great for all the other people who are paying higher rates so that the insurance company can afford to cover the costs of the man’s stage 4 cancer. Insurance companies can not stay in business without making a profit. If everyone pays the same for coverage regardless of how sick or well they will be, the healthy pay for the sick. The sicker you are the greater you benefit from the system. The healthier you are the more expensive the system is for you individually. It turns the concept of insurance cost/benefit upside down. The healthy are penalized. The sick are rewarded. Plus, the incentive is to NOT have insurance until one gets really sick and then let others cover the cost of your sickness.
It’s similar to buying home insurance after your house burned down and having the insurance company cover your losses. It’s similar to not having car insurance for your Lamborghini, having an accident totaling the car, buying insurance for the car after the fact at the same rate that everyone else pays, and the insurance company paying for the loss. It turns the concept of insurance upside down and it increases costs because everyone else who continually has health insurance has to help pay for the “pre-existing condition.”
The federal government has no constitutional authority to be involved in either healthcare insurance or healthcare. Both are reserved to the States. There should have never been a Department of Health and Human Services, an Obamacare law, or the proposed American Health Care Act.
The ONLY VALID solution for the Republican Party is to REPEAL Obamacare lock, stock, and barrel. Obamacare must not be replaced or revised. Obamacare must be repealed totally and completely and before the election in 2018. The Republican Party will be held accountable. The Left will make sure of that. The Left is not held accountable by the Republican Party but the Left does hold the Republican Party accountable. The Republican Party will pay a terrible price if they do not repeal Obamacare.
